1. The role of health education in clinical nursing
Health education is an effective measure to improve the health of the whole people. It educates people to establish a new concept of health, encourages people to have a desire to reach a healthy state, and helps people realize this desire. In the past 1 year, 82 ∞ patients were investigated in our hospital at the time of discharge, and all patients thought that health education was very necessary.
1.2 Health education can help patients overcome diseases with a positive and healthy attitude and strengthen the relationship between nurses and patients. Since health education was carried out in our hospital, a lot of work has been done, but there has been more communication with patients, and patients' trust in nurses has also been greatly improved. Satisfaction has increased from 86.5% (average annual) in the past to 98.8% (average annual) now. Patients have questions and heartfelt words, and they are willing to talk to nurses. Nurses can always take patients as the center and give patients comprehensive and thoughtful care.
1.3 Health education is a treatment. Many diseases are caused by bad behaviors and lifestyles, such as smoking, drinking, high sugar, high fat food, sexual confusion and so on. Correcting this deviant behavior through health education can improve the self-control ability of patients and people, thus reducing the incidence and mortality of diseases.
1.4 Health education can reduce patients' anxiety, especially those who need surgery. Nurses should carry out education according to the different stages of patients' treatment, explain the purpose, precautions and cooperation methods of various examinations, treatments and drugs, so that patients can know fairly well and actively cooperate with treatment and nursing. Health education is the most effective means and ideal health care measure to eliminate adverse psychological reactions and relieve patients and their families' doubts.
1.5 health education is a health care measure with less technical resources, high output and great benefits. According to the survey of American Medical Association, for every 1 dollar spent on patient health education service, it will save 6 dollars in medical expenses.
2. Key points of patient health education.
2. 1 The content must be specific. Patient health education is a specific activity suitable for patients' situation and life needs. Therefore, it is necessary to master the patients' life content and collect it, so that health education can become a specific educational activity content suitable for patients' individual needs, thus guiding patients to be interested in learning content and improving learning effect.
2.2 The implementation skills of targeted health education directly affect patients' mastery of health knowledge. Clinically, different levels of education should be given according to patients' needs and education level to help patients correctly understand the diseases and the knowledge they may encounter or must know or master. Nurses should give effective education according to different individuals, different periods, different health problems and psychological States, and play a guiding role in solving problems for patients.
2.3 grasp the key points, grasp the stage, and grasp the opportunity of mission in the process of mission. For example, the health education of surgical patients has obvious stages, and each stage has its own characteristics, such as admission education, preoperative preparation, postoperative guidance and discharge rehabilitation guidance.
2.4 Grasp the task time reasonably.
2.4. 1 Patients are most concerned about the introduction of beds, asphyxiated environment and facilities, while critically ill patients are most concerned about the severity of their illness, whether it is dangerous or not, and need to see doctors and nurses immediately. These contents should be introduced in time. As for the introduction of rules and regulations, it may not be the most urgent need for patients to know. Even if it is introduced, the effect is not good. It can be done during working hours after the patient has settled down.
2.4.2 Education time is in non-treatment and nursing time, and talk with patients at a relatively fixed time after treatment in the afternoon, contact their feelings, collect information, and give systematic health knowledge guidance to patients.
2.4.3 In the whole treatment and nursing process, explain and introduce relevant knowledge to patients during special examination and nursing operation. For example, when giving the patient intravenous drip of membrane island element, tell the patient that this medicine should not be too fast, can not be changed at will, and can not stand up suddenly after completion, so as to avoid hypoglycemia and fainting.
2.4.4 Need the patient's family to participate in and understand the content, can be arranged in the visiting hours.
2.4.5 Don't wait until the discharge formalities to educate the patients in a hurry, but finish it within 1 ~ 2d before discharge, so as to achieve the expected effect.
