Preparations for the first day:
Before planting mung beans, seeds and planting containers need to be prepared. I chose a healthy mung bean seed, put it in a transparent glass bottle and wrapped it with wet cotton. This can provide suitable humidity and temperature, which is beneficial to seed germination and growth.
Bud early the next day:
The next morning, I found that mung bean seeds had begun to sprout. In a humid environment, seeds absorb water, begin to swell and grow outward. I can clearly see a tender root in mung bean seeds.
Roots grow on the third day:
On the third day of observation, I found that the root system of mung bean began to grow rapidly. The root system extends downward, and no lateral roots are branched. The root system grows vigorously because it is looking for nutrients and water.
On the fourth day, the stem appeared:
On the fourth morning, I found that the stems of mung beans began to stick out from the seeds. Stem is the supporting structure of plants, which can support the leaves and flowers of plants and make them fully absorb sunlight.
On the fifth day, leaves grow:
On the fifth day, I found that the leaves of mung beans began to grow. Leaf is the main organ of plant photosynthesis, which absorbs the energy of sunlight through chlorophyll and converts it into nutrients needed by plants.
Day 6: Growth Acceleration:
There are more branches and leaves. This is because on the sixth day of observation, I found that the growth rate of mung beans has obviously accelerated. The stems and leaves become more luxuriant, which establishes a stable root system for plants.
On the seventh day, the health status of plants:
On the morning of the seventh day, I observed that mung bean plants were in a healthy state. The leaves are green and shiny, and the stems are upright. This shows that plants can normally carry out photosynthesis and absorb enough water and nutrients from the soil.
On the eighth day, the growth is completed:
On the eighth day, it was found that mung beans had completed the growth process. The leaves are luxuriant and plump, and the stems become stronger. Plants have formed a complete system, which can reproduce and spread at any time.
Through these eight days of observation, I have a deeper understanding of the growth process of mung beans. From root system to stem and leaf growth, each stage has its specific function and role. At the same time, I also realized the importance of environment to plant growth. Proper temperature and humidity can promote the healthy development of plants.
In the future planting process, I will pay more attention to providing suitable environmental conditions and closely observe the growth and changes of plants in order to better understand the life cycle and growth law of plants.
