Tianjin, referred to as Jingu and Jinmen for short, is a provincial administrative region, municipality directly under the Central Government, national central city, megacity, international consumption center city, economic center around Bohai Sea, marine instrument testing and evaluation center in Asia-Pacific region and an international comprehensive transportation hub in People's Republic of China (PRC).
Tianjin is the main node of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor, the strategic fulcrum of the Maritime Silk Road, the intersection of the Belt and Road, and the nearest eastern starting point of the Eurasian Continental Bridge. Located at the confluence and estuary of the five tributaries of Haihe River, namely South Canal, Ziya River, Daqinghe River, Yongding River and North Canal, it is known as "the lower tip of Jiujiang" and "the river is in a hurry". Tianjin is located in North China, northeast of North China Plain, downstream of Haihe River Basin, bordering Bohai Sea in the east, Yanshan Mountain in the north and Beijing in the west.
geothermal resource
The geothermal resources in Tianjin belong to the medium-low temperature hot water geothermal in non-volcanic sedimentary basins. The water temperature is mostly between 30℃ and 90℃, which is characterized by shallow burial and good water quality. There are 10 geothermal anomaly areas with exploration, development and utilization value, covering an area of 2,434 square kilometers, and the total hot water reserves are1136 million cubic meters, which is the largest medium-low temperature geothermal field in China so far.
