Dogs recognize their owners by their sense of smell, so can they really smell people sick? what do you think? As we all know, dogs have a keen sense of smell. Dogs can not only tell whether the other person is their own master through their sense of smell, but also verify fugitives through their sense of smell. In contrast, people's sense of smell is not so clever. Generally, only the smell can be identified, and there is no way to identify other information content in the smell.

According to experiments, some biologists have shown that people in our school also have excellent ability to distinguish smells, but this ability is usually produced in the subconscious. In other words, people will arouse this excellent sense of smell in some special natural environments. Once upon a time, there was a psychologist from Northern Ireland. Chongqing Research Institute wants to study whether this dog can identify itself by smell.

The steps of this experiment are as follows: the staff will send the same iron shed to all owners who want to participate in the work, and then the owners must cover their hands with blankets in their kennels. Dogs can't have other bedding sets except this blanket, and dogs can't sleep in their owners' homes. There are 26 owners involved in the work.

Every host has to be blindfolded, and then smell the 26 blankets with his sense of smell. Then he has to respond to three aspects: "Which smell smells the strongest?" "Which smell is the most enjoyable?" And "which of these blankets smells like your dog's?" According to this step, biologists can judge whether people can recognize your dog by smell.

In order to better ensure the actual effect of the study, the staff prepared 26 similar dogs in advance, but the test results were very unexpected. 88.5% of the participants always feel that blankets with the smell of their own dogs make them more comfortable and smell more obvious, and they undoubtedly recognize their own dogs.

In order to minimize the deviation better, the experimenter conducted the experiment again, because it was possible that the owner recognized the smell of our house. Only in the second experiment, dogs were not allowed to touch these blankets. As a result, none of the owners can successfully guess which blanket is in the same room as their dog.

In my two experiments, biologists believe that people actually have some dogs' sense of smell, and we can also touch dogs' distinctive smells in our daily lives, but people's brains will filter out some subtle differences in this case. People still have a very strong impression on the smell of this dog subconsciously, so once it is funny again, people's brains will tell that it is their own dog.

And everyone's sense of smell is not only for dogs, for example, a mother who has given birth to a child can recognize the smell of your child. Parents born together can recognize the smell of your child, and two people living together in daily life can recognize the smell of their partners.

It is not difficult to understand why dogs especially like to smell other people's smells. Because people's appearance and body shape will change, but its smell is not easy to deceive. So if you know the smell of your puppy well, you don't have to worry about being confused with other people's dogs.
