Component 1 glucosamine
Also known as glucosamine, it is a compound in which the hydroxyl group of glucose is replaced by amino group. The molecular formula is C6H 13O5N, commonly known as amino sugar. 2- amino -2- deoxy -D- glucose exists widely in nature. 2- amino -2- deoxy -D- glucose usually exists in microorganisms and animals in the form of N- acetyl derivatives (such as chitin) or N- sulfate and N- acetyl -3-O- lactate (cell wall acid).
Component 2 dimethyl sulfone (MSM)
Also known as methylsulfonylmethane, white crystalline powder, easily soluble in ether water, ethanol, benzene, methanol and acetone, slightly soluble in ether. Potassium permanganate can't change color at room temperature, but strong oxidant can oxidize dimethyl sulfone into methanesulfonic acid. The aqueous solution of dimethyl sulfone is neutral. Micro-sublimation at 25℃ accelerates sublimation at 60℃, so the drying of dimethyl sulfone products is easy to be carried out at low temperature and vacuum. MSM is used as high-temperature solvent and organic synthesis raw material, gas chromatography stationary liquid, analytical reagent, food additive and medicine in industry.
