Methods 1: Nursing nails
1. Trim fragile nails to prevent them from breaking. If nails become fragile after removing acrylic nail polish, they will easily break, resulting in pain and uneven nail edges. Trim your fingertips neatly with a clean nail clipper. Round the edges so that they are not too sharp.
You can also trim your nails with nail clippers.
2. polish your nails in the same direction. Choose a fine sand nail file because it will wear your nails less. Start from the outer edge of the nail and polish the whole nail in the same direction. Don't walk back and forth, or you will damage the edge of your nails. To prevent over-polishing, put the edge of nail file under the nail tip, and the polishing effect can be clearly seen.
3. Wipe your nails once a week. First, use acetone, medical alcohol or vinegar to clean the grease on the nails. Draw a small circle and wipe the nail surface until they become smooth. Don't over-polish your nails to avoid excessive wear. You can also draw an "X" when polishing your nails.
However, don't polish it too often, or your nails will become thinner and thinner.
4. Apply hand cream to keep your hands moist. In order to promote the health of nails, hands must be hydrated. Apply hand cream or hand sanitizer at least twice a day, including once before going to bed. Choose a thicker hand cream to apply at night to achieve extra moisturizing effect. Try to remember to rub some lotion after washing your hands.
Wear cotton gloves after applying lotion at night to help lock in moisture.
5. Apply a layer of nail polish containing jojoba oil around your nails. Keeping the cuticle moist is good for nails and can keep them moist and healthy. Apply at least one layer of nail polish around your nails every day. It is best to apply it at night, because you can leave it on your nails when you sleep. Apply lotion or hand cream before applying nail polish.
6. Try to protect your nails with nail hardener. If the nails are fragile, the hardener can provide enough support for them to grow normally. Just like nail polish, apply a layer of nail hardener directly from the nail bed to the tip of the nail. If necessary, apply another layer after the hardener dries. You can buy nail hardener in most pharmacies and large supermarkets. They can also be called "nail enhancers".
Some people find that nail hardener is too effective, which will make nails break more easily. If you encounter this problem, try to apply only a layer of transparent nail polish.
7. Wait for new nails to grow. Although the damage caused by acrylic nail polish can't be completely healed, nails will eventually grow back. As long as you pay attention to nail care and eat nutritious and healthy food, the nails you grow are usually tough and healthy.
Method 2: Take proper nutrition.
1. Take biotin from eggs, meat and avocados. Biotin is essential for healthy nails, skin and hair. Biotin can improve nail health if acrylic nail polish is used to damage nails. Most meat, including fish, is a good source of biotin. You can also eat nuts, sweet potatoes, spinach and cauliflower to get enough biotin. /kloc-Adults aged 0/8 should consume 30 micrograms of biotin every day. An egg contains 10 μ g of biotin, pork chops and hamburger patties contain 3.8 μ g of biotin, and 85 g of salmon contains 5 μ g of biotin.
Speaking of nuts and seeds, 28 grams of sunflower seeds contain 2.6 micrograms of biotin, while the same amount of almonds contain 1.5 micrograms of biotin.
If you feel that you are not getting enough biotin from your diet, please consult your doctor to see if you should take supplements. Generally speaking, 2.5 mg of supplements will help. Although this is much higher than the recommended daily dose, you can take 50 mg every day without any problem.
2. Take 10 mg of silicon supplement every day. If nails become fragile because of acrylic nail polish, then silicon can help them repair. Find a supplement containing choline-stabilized orthosilicic acid (ch-OSA) and take it for at least 4 months every day. Please consult your doctor before you start taking any supplements.
If you don't want to take supplements, beer is the best natural silicon source. A glass of beer contains 10 mg of silicon, so you can also take this nutrition through beer. However, you must drink alcohol in moderation.
3. Make sure your diet contains enough protein. To determine how much protein you need a day, you can multiply your weight by 0.4 or 0.8 to get the grams of protein. You can also use the online protein calculator. For example, if your weight is 140 kg, multiply it by 0.4 g/kg to get 56 g, which is your protein intake. If you weigh 90kg, multiply it by 0.8g/kg, and the weight of protein is 72g.
For reference, a poker-sized tuna, salmon or sturgeon contains 265,438+0g of protein, while the same amount of turkey or chicken contains 65,438+09g of protein.
1 egg contains 6g of protein, 80g of cottage cheese contains 4g of protein/kloc-0, and the same amount of cooked beans contains 8g of protein.
4. Eat foods rich in iron, such as red meat, green leafy vegetables and beans. Iron deficiency can cause problems with nails and hair, so be sure to get enough iron from your diet. 19 to 50-year-old women need 18 mg of iron every day, while older women or adult men need 8 mg every day. Fortified breakfast cereal is one of the best sources of iron, because it contains 18 mg of iron per serving. An 85g serving of oyster or180g serving of white beans contains 8mg of iron. Other good sources of iron include dark chocolate, spinach, lentils, meat and soybeans.
If you think you are iron deficient because of fatigue, cold limbs, dizziness, shortness of breath, weakness and fragile nails, be sure to consult a doctor.
5. Eat all kinds of fruits, vegetables, grains, protein, seeds and nuts. Many vitamins and minerals are good for nail health, so food must be rich and varied. Eat all kinds of fruits and vegetables, as well as whole grains such as whole wheat, quinoa, brown rice, dried wheat and buckwheat. Eat all kinds of beans, seeds and nuts!
Method 3: Use acrylic nail polish correctly.
1. Ask a professional manicurist to remove acrylic nail polish. Because acrylic nail polish needs to be scraped off, it is best to be handled by professionals. They will cut off the tips of their nails and then polish off the acrylic nail polish. After that, they will let you soak your nails in acetone and remove them completely. Usually, they will eventually use a skin trimmer to completely remove acrylic acid.
2. After applying acrylic nail polish, apply it later. Continuous use of acrylic nail polish will cause nail damage. Wait at least a week before applying acrylic nail polish to give your nails time to regain their strength. Or use fake nails only on special occasions.
3. Using gel nail polish instead of acrylic nail polish is less harmful to nails. If nails are damaged by acrylic acid, use gel nail polish instead. Some gel nail polishes can be completely removed without polishing and soaking, so the damage to nails is less. In addition, gel bends more easily than acrylic acid, so it is unlikely to cause nail fracture.
4. Brush acrylic nail polish thoroughly every 6 to 12 months. If you want to maintain the nail effect of acrylic nail polish for a long time, you must thoroughly remove makeup and repaint it regularly, at least once a year. This is because the bubbles under acrylic nail polish will cause it to fall off, which will cause more damage to nails. In addition, completely removing acrylic nail polish gives you the opportunity to do extra care for your nails.
Tip: Don't grow long nails until they grow back.
