GAP Certification —— Food Safety Control from Tiantou

What is GAP certification?

Gap-good agricultural practice certification is a food safety control system of Tiantou. Unprocessed and simply processed (raw) agricultural products, including planting, harvesting, packaging and transportation of agricultural products, breeding of livestock and poultry products and aquatic products. Respectively formulate and implement their own operating norms to avoid the pollution and harm of foreign substances in the production process of agricultural products. GAP certification aims to ensure food safety from the source.

Origin and development of GAP certification

"Good Agricultural Practices", referred to as GAP for short, was first put forward by the Working Group on Agricultural Products of European Retailers (EUREP) in 1997. EUREPGAP standard is published in 200 1. In September 2007, it was renamed Global GAP (commonly known as GROB GAP in Chinese). Subsequently, GLOBAGAP became the evaluation standard for purchasing agricultural products by large supermarkets in Europe. Only agricultural products certified by GAP can enter large supermarkets in Europe. Therefore, GAP certification has been paid more and more attention by governments and consumers all over the world.

GAP certification in China

In China, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) initiated the research on GAP certification in 2004, and in June 2005, 165438+ 10 approved and issued a series of China GAP certification standards, including basic standards for farms, basic standards for species and product modules. On June 5438+ 10, 2006, CNCA promulgated the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Good Agricultural Practice Certification (Trial). On June 20 15, CNCA signed the Technical Benchmark Comparison and Cooperation Agreement with GAP, and renewed the Memorandum of Understanding on Benchmark Comparison of GAP Certification System. The mutual recognition between ChinaGAP and GLOBAGAP is accelerating. After mutual recognition, ChinaGAP will become a business card for China's primary agricultural products to enter large supermarkets in various countries.
