Nursing staff; Mental health; Reason; Intervention countermeasures

The nature of nurses' work requires them not only to have superb nursing skills, but also to have healthy and stable psychological quality, so as to complete nursing tasks quickly and efficiently. As a result, nurses are prone to various psychological problems such as nervousness and anxiety, which not only affects their physical and mental health, but also affects the quality of nursing work and increases the possibility of disputes between nurses and patients [1]. In this study, 80 nurses were investigated by mental health questionnaire to explore the causes of nurses' psychological problems and effective intervention countermeasures.

3. 1 Causes of mental health problems of nurses

The results of this study show that occupational stress, work risk, complicated interpersonal relationship and low social status are the main causes of nurses' psychological problems, among which work stress is the most important one.

1), occupational stress: nursing work is relatively hard, and the characteristics of long working hours, poor work intensity and poor working environment of nurses often lead to sub-health of body and mind. The nursing work in the hospital is numerous and complicated, and trivial and heavy nursing work consumes a lot of physical strength of nursing staff. In addition, there are many emergencies in the hospital, which need timely and accurate treatment by nursing staff to avoid medical accidents. In addition, nurses should be trained and re-educated in their spare time to improve their technical level and quality, which leads to long-term disorder of biological clock, sleep disorder, loss of appetite, decreased attention, depression and irritability, which has caused great damage to their physical and mental health [2].

2) Work risk: Nurses need to finish their work carefully in the process of cooperating with doctors for treatment and nursing. A slight mistake will do harm to patients' health and even life safety, and they must bear corresponding legal responsibilities. In addition, when medical disputes occur, patients and their families are also easy to choose nursing staff as targets of revenge, which increases the risks borne by nursing staff. In addition, the influence of patients' diseases and medical equipment, and the complexity and danger of working environment will also cause certain physical and mental harm to patients and threaten their physical and mental health.

3) Complicated interpersonal relationships: Nurses need to deal with complicated interpersonal relationships in hospitals, such as doctor-nurse relationship and nurse-patient relationship. A little carelessness will lead to disputes. Nurses need to treat patients and their families carefully, so as not to cause nurse-patient disputes and hurt themselves. In addition, nurses are often too busy to take care of their families because of their work needs, which may easily lead to disharmony between husband and wife, many family conflicts and even divorce between husband and wife.

4) Low social status: The society doesn't know enough about nursing staff, and it is biased against the value of nursing work. The status of nursing staff in society is not high, so it is called? Senior nanny? Labor and work are not recognized, which is inconsistent with the hard work of nursing staff. Moreover, nurses' low salary, poor welfare and limited self-development have seriously affected their enthusiasm and caused serious psychological burden to nurses.

3.2 Interventions:

1), reduce work pressure and implement humanized management: improve the working environment of nurses, strive to create a warm and quiet ward nursing environment, create a high-quality working atmosphere for nurses and improve their satisfaction. To arrange nursing work scientifically, nursing managers should negotiate and communicate with nursing staff, respect the wishes of nursing staff and arrange shifts reasonably. Nurses should arrange rest after working overtime to ensure physical strength and energy recovery. Managers should communicate with nurses more, understand their inner needs and opinions and suggestions on nursing work, seriously consider their opinions and adopt good suggestions. Establish a good incentive mechanism, improve the salary and welfare of nursing staff, attach importance to the training and education of nursing staff, strive for opportunities for further study, inspection and promotion, and improve the enthusiasm of nursing staff [3].

2) Increase social support for nursing staff: Hospitals should strengthen support for nursing staff, especially when nursing staff encounter problems and disputes, they should be brave enough to safeguard their own rights and interests and safety, and protect their physical and mental safety. When nurses make mistakes in their work, they should communicate with them more, ask the reason of the problem, don't deal with it rudely by reprimanding or deducting bonuses, increase support for nurses, let nurses rely on it, reduce worries and work with peace of mind.

3) Enhance the comprehensive quality of nurses: Nurses should strengthen their adaptability and self-adjustment ability, strive to improve their comprehensive quality and technical level, improve their ability to cope with emergencies and pressures, and at the same time improve their ability to deal with interpersonal relationships, especially nurse-patient relationships, communicate with patients and their families, patiently answer patients' questions, understand patients' needs, and avoid unnecessary contradictions and conflicts [4].

4) Enhance the social status of nursing staff: The whole society should learn to respect and understand the achievements of nursing staff and enhance their sense of responsibility, mission and accomplishment. Nurses should constantly improve their comprehensive quality history and pay attention to communication with patients and their families, so that they can fully understand and respect the hard work of nurses. Hospitals can appropriately give moral encouragement and material compensation to nursing staff, as well as opportunities for further study and promotion, so as to improve the enthusiasm of nursing staff.

Nurses face many psychological problems, which need the attention of hospitals and society, in order to reduce their work pressure and risks, improve their social status, ensure their physical safety and mental health, and promote the sustained and stable development of medical undertakings.
