Speech under the national flag of Love Tooth Day

Dear teachers and students:

Good Morning, everyone! The topic of my speech today is "Protect your teeth at any time, starting with me".

Toothache is not a disease, it hurts like hell. Maybe many of us have suffered from toothache. The World Medical Organization has designated September 20th every year as Tooth Love Day, in order to constantly remind people not to forget to pay attention to their oral health while enjoying a happy life, because it is directly related to our physical and mental health and quality of life. In addition to health factors, as early as ancient times, people regarded the health and beauty of teeth as an important part of appearance. Everyone has a love of beauty, and it is everyone's wish to be bright-eyed and white-toothed like a shell.

Oral health is an important part of overall health. The World Health Organization defines "the standard of oral health" as: clean teeth, no cavities, no pain, normal gum color and no bleeding.

It can be seen that teeth are an important organ for human survival, it is the main component of chewing organs, and it is also closely related to language, appearance and health. Besides brushing your teeth every morning and evening and gargling after meals, there are also some effective self-care measures to protect your teeth. Let me introduce a few tips for daily care of teeth:

1. The most basic and economical way to protect dental health is to brush your teeth effectively, remove food residue and dental plaque, and massage your gums.

2. Brush your teeth at least twice a day, brush 3 faces with each toothbrush for 3 minutes each time, and rinse your mouth in time after eating. Eat less sweets and sour food, and don't eat sweets before going to bed.

3, choose grinding health toothbrush and fluoride toothpaste, children should use a special toothbrush for children.

4, toothbrush maintenance 1 per person, after brushing your teeth, rinse it with clear water for several times, and dry it.

5. It is best to change the toothbrush once every month 1 time, and use a toothbrush for no more than 3 months at most.

6. Toothbrushes can be brushed everywhere. Floss, toothpicks or interval brushes can be used reasonably to remove bacteria and food residues.

7. Eat a balanced diet and protect your teeth. The development of teeth is inseparable from various nutritious foods. Therefore, whether adults or children, the diet should be diversified, not partial eclipse.

8, advocate 1 oral examination every six months, clean treatment, disease prevention, early treatment of diseases.

9. Prevent trauma. Don't use your teeth to open hard objects such as bottle caps to prevent your teeth from being damaged.

10, correct bad habits. Some students have bad habits such as sucking their thumbs, licking their teeth, grinding their teeth, breathing with their mouths open and biting their lips. , it will cause malocclusion and affect the appearance. Correcting bad habits is beneficial to dental care, and teeth should be adjusted as soon as possible.

1 1, often drink tea and water. Tea contains fluorine, which can prevent dental caries. Drinking tea water or gargling with tea can protect your teeth and clean your mouth.

"A white and neat tooth can add your unique charm, greatly improve your quality of life and make your smile more charming." I hope each of us can realize the importance of oral health care, have a healthy tooth and have a brighter smile.

Thank you!
