OPS’s growth experience

Dr. Wang Hongwei, the founder of the company, conducted extensive research on plasma application technology and plasma surface treatment systems from 1993 to 2003. During this period, he obtained 7 national patents related to plasma surface treatment technology and presided over the development of new products at the national and provincial levels. Developed 5 projects and published more than 30 academic papers.

From 2004 to 2005, Dr. Wang Hongwei stayed in Germany as a senior visiting scholar, cooperating and communicating with world-class plasma experts.

In March 2006, Dr. Wang Hongwei, together with German experts and other overseas students, founded Suzhou Omig Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. to focus on the research and development of plasma surface treatment systems.

In December 2006, battery separator plasma surface treatment equipment and solutions were successfully delivered to a new material company in Suzhou.

In August 2007, we independently developed a solid-state transistor plasma source and a vapor grafting instrument.

In December 2007, plasma surface treatment equipment and solutions for biological consumables were successfully delivered to a listed medical company in Shanghai.

In December 2008, we independently developed a solid-state radio frequency plasma generator and a fully automatic impedance matching device.

In August 2009, we independently developed an atmospheric discharge plasma spray gun and passed repeatability and stability verification, filling the gap in the company's plasma normal pressure glow discharge.

In August 2010, the company attracted a new round of funds and optimized and allocated resources. Suzhou Omig Mechanical and Electrical Technology Co., Ltd. officially changed its name to Suzhou Opus Plasma Technology Co., Ltd.

In October 2010, the company received a visit from many German experts and established a long-term partnership with German companies.

In November 2010, we successfully signed a contract with a domestic group company. Our company provides independently developed solid-state transistor plasma generation sources to be used with customers' plasma sterilizers.

In December 2010, articles titled "A Biomimetic Asymmetric Responsive Single Nanochannel" were published in the famous chemistry magazine "JACS" and "A Ph-Gating Ionic Transport Nanodevice:Asymmetric" were published in "ADVANCED MATERIALS" The article "Chemical Modification of Single Nanochannels" mentioned our company's plasma surface treatment equipment many times.

In May 2011, plasma surface treatment equipment and solutions for textile printing and dyeing materials were successfully delivered to a group company in Hangzhou. The roll plasma surface treatment system for textile printing and dyeing, coating and printing and other industries has become mature.

In June 2011, our company’s plasma surface treatment equipment successfully applied for the Jiangsu Province Enterprise Product Implementation Standard Certificate.

In August 2011, more than 20 plasma spray guns were operating stably in the domestic automobile industry, daily necessities industry, chemical materials industry, precision machinery industry, etc., and have won unanimous praise from customers in the industry in the past two years.

In November 2011, the company successfully applied for the title of Suzhou Industrial Industry Transformation and Upgrading Project, Suzhou Engineering Technology Research Center and Jiangsu Province Private Enterprise.

In December 2011, the annual sales in 2011 achieved the goal of increasing five times over the previous year, and won the third prize in the "Tianfu Xingu" Cup Entrepreneurship Competition.
