Limited Warranty and Limited Liability
Fluke warrants that its products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and care. The warranty period is three years from the date of shipment. Parts, product repair and service are warranted for a period of
90 days. This warranty is limited to the original purchaser or end user at an authorized Fluke retailer and does not apply to disposable batteries, cable glands, cable insulation adapters, or any damage to the Product which Fluke believes to be caused by misuse,
modification, neglect, contamination, and accidental or unusual operation or handling. Fluke warrants that the Software will operate properly for 90 days in accordance with its functional specifications and that the Software is recorded on defect-free media.
Fluke does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or that operation will be uninterrupted.
Authorized Fluke retailers shall provide this warranty to the end-user for new and unused products only, but shall have no authority to provide additional or different warranties on behalf of Fluke. Fluke's Warranty is available only if the Product is purchased through a Fluke-authorized outlet or if the purchaser has paid the applicable international price. In the event that a product purchased in one country needs to be repaired in another country, Fluke has the right to request that the buyer cover the cost of major repairs/
parts replacement.
Fluke's warranty is limited to a refund of the purchase price, at Fluke's discretion, for the repair or replacement of a defective product returned to a Fluke Authorized Service Center during the warranty period at no charge.
For warranty service, please contact your nearest Fluke Authorized Service Center for return authorization information; then ship the product to the service center with a description of the product problem,
prepaid shipping and insurance (FOB destination). Fluke will not be responsible for damages incurred in transit. After warranty, the product will be shipped back to the buyer with shipping charges prepaid
(FOB destination). If Fluke determines that the failure of the product was due to negligence, misuse, contamination, modification, accident, or improper operation or handling,
including overpressurization caused by use of the product at less than its specified rating; or due to wear and tear of the unit from ordinary use, Fluke will estimate the cost of repair and obtain the buyer's consent to such repair.
After repair, the product will be shipped back to the buyer, transportation prepaid; the buyer will be billed for the repair and return transportation costs (collect).
This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy available to Buyer and is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. FLUKE shall not be liable for any
special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or losses, including loss of data, arising out of any cause or inference whatsoever.
Because some countries or states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties or the exclusion and limitation of incidental or consequential damages, the limitations and exclusions of this warranty may not apply to every buyer.
If any provision of this Warranty is held invalid or unenforceable by a court or other adjudicatory body of proper jurisdiction, such holding will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
