CCC certification implements national mandatory safety certification for the products involved. The main contents are summarized in the following aspects:
(1) In accordance with relevant WTO agreements and internationally accepted rules, the state shall comply with laws and regulations concerning human health and safety, animal and plant life safety and health, as well as environmental protection and public health* **Safe products implement a unified compulsory product certification system. The National Certification and Accreditation Administration is responsible for the management, organization and implementation of the national compulsory product certification system.
(2) The main features of the national compulsory product certification system are that the state publishes a unified catalog, determines uniformly applicable national standards, technical rules and implementation procedures, formulates unified signs and labels, and stipulates unified fees. standard. All products included in the compulsory product certification catalog must be certified by a nationally designated certification agency. After obtaining relevant certificates and adding certification marks, they can be shipped, imported, sold and used in business and service venues.
(3) In accordance with my country’s WTO commitments and the principle of reflecting national treatment, the first batch of products covered by the “First Batch of Product Catalogs Implementing Compulsory Product Certification” are based on the original import safety and quality licensing system and Based on the compulsory safety certification and electromagnetic compatibility certification products, appropriate additions and reductions have been made. Originally, there were 138 products covered by the two systems. The formulation of new charging items and charging standards will be based on the principles of not for profit and reflecting national treatment, comprehensively consider the current charging situation, and refer to similar overseas certification charging items and charging standards.
(6) The new compulsory product certification system will be implemented on May 1, 2002, and the relevant certification agencies will officially begin accepting applications. In order to ensure a smooth transition between the new and old systems, the original product safety certification system and import safety and quality licensing system will be abolished as of August 1, 2003.
