Research on the Injuries of Foreign Volleyball Players

Sports injury refers to physical injury or sustained injury caused by external force or internal force or violence during sports. Sports injury will not only make athletes unable to participate in training or competition normally, but even end their sports career ahead of schedule. The occurrence of sports injuries has its own unique laws. Volleyball is an antagonistic ball game across the net, and there is no direct physical contact with the opponent during the movement. Therefore, the sports injury rate in the competition process is not in the forefront, but the sports injury rate in the training process is very high. The characteristics of the competition determine that athletes will compete fiercely for points in order to win the competition. In order to win the final game, athletes will make full use of their accustomed routine technical movements, as well as unaccustomed movements or unconventional techniques to hit the ball. The occurrence of sports injuries is mainly concentrated in the fatigue period of habitual body movements and when hitting the ball with unaccustomed body or unconventional techniques. Once sports injury happens, it will affect sports performance, and shorten sports life. Therefore, we should try our best to prevent and avoid sports injuries during exercise.

In volleyball, about 16% of physical injuries are caused by irregular technical movements. Improper mastery of sports skills leads to defects and mistakes in technical movements, which goes against the principles of human anatomy, the activities of various organs and systems during exercise and mechanical principles, thus causing tissue injuries, such as joint sprains and muscle and ligament strains.

The main contents of physical quality training include strength, speed, endurance, agility, coordination and special quality training. Physical exercise has a positive effect on the prevention and treatment of injuries, especially the training of core strength. However, due to the influence of objective conditions, professional physical training lacks technical guidance, and there are problems in training content arrangement and training methods. Causing acute or chronic injury.

In the case of fatigue, especially in the case of cerebral cortex fatigue, the accuracy of movement and physical function are reduced, alertness is reduced, attention is reduced, and reaction is slow, which is also one of the important reasons for sports injury.

(D) Coaches' lack of understanding of sports injury prevention leads to

A few coaches and athletes mistakenly believe that sports injuries are inevitable. Therefore, in the process of volleyball teaching, training and competition, the prevention of sports injuries is ignored.

In volleyball teaching, training and competition, inadequate preparation is a common cause of injuries of volleyball players, accounting for more than 30% of all sports injuries.

A large number of studies conducted by sports psychologists show that athletes' psychological factors are closely related to sports injuries.

The injury structure of volleyball players mainly includes joint injury, periosteum injury, muscle and leg strain and so on. The common types of injuries in volleyball are: lumbar disc herniation, meniscus injury, ligament strain and muscle strain, synovitis and so on. The severely injured body parts are mainly lumbar intervertebral disc, shoulder, ankle joint and knee. This is mainly determined by the sports characteristics of volleyball. Volleyball is usually done by squatting or flying, which has the greatest pressure on the knee joint and serious damage.

1. Science and technology training. In technical training, we should strengthen the practice of correct technical movements, avoid dislocating fingers or knees, tearing ligaments and contusion of articular cartilage when blocking or defending, and pay special attention to the specification of technical movements under fatigue.

2. Scientific physical exercise. Scientific training, effective prevention, all-round development of physical fitness and improvement of self-defense ability against sports injuries. In physical training, we should pay attention to check whether the physical condition is good before training. Attention should be paid to the training of small muscle groups and the relaxation activities after strength training, so that the body can be effectively relaxed and adjusted. Avoid concentrating too much practice on one part, and pay attention to the diversification of training methods and means in technical teaching and training.

3. Conduct proper warm-up activities scientifically and reasonably. Proper warm-up and warm-up activities can fully adjust the body function, make the body adapt to the state of exercise, and achieve enough excitement.

4. Improve the medical and logistical support mechanism. Before competition and training, we should pay attention to the safety of venues and facilities and try to avoid sports injuries. Once a sports injury occurs, it is necessary to ensure timely treatment, minimize the injury as much as possible, and avoid the subsequent impact of the injury.

5. Improve your awareness of injury prevention. Master the necessary knowledge of injury prevention and enhance the awareness of self-prevention.

6. Strengthen protective measures. Strengthen physical protection measures, especially the vulnerable parts such as ankle joint, knee joint and wrist in volleyball.

7. Comprehensive physical examination. Do a comprehensive physical examination before exercise to ensure that the body can exercise in a good state.

8. Strengthen the construction of on-site equipment and facilities. It is suggested that relevant departments increase investment in public and professional volleyball training venues and facilities, and completely replace and repair some old venues and facilities as soon as possible to avoid or reduce sports injuries caused by venue problems during training.

Pay attention to prevent the injury of vulnerable parts, practice vulnerable parts in a targeted way, strengthen the practice of core strength, raise the awareness of injury, arrange teaching, training and competition reasonably, and strengthen the cultivation of self-protection ability.
