I. Air conditioner installation location: installed in the location that meets the following conditions and is agreed by the user.
5.5.1 Indoor unit:
1) There should be no source of heat and vapor near the location where it is installed.
2) There should be no obstructions to air circulation at the installation location.
3) A place where good circulation of indoor air can be maintained and where both cold and warm indoor air can be delivered.
4) It is easy to drain.
5) Choose a place that can bear the weight of the indoor unit without increasing the operating noise and vibration.
6) A place with installation and maintenance conditions.
7) Convenient to install piping and wiring out of the place.
8) Avoid the place of oil smoke droplets.
9) Distance from the TV, audio equipment, etc. 1m away from the place.
10) Choose a place where it is easy to remove condensation and connect the outdoor unit.
11) Keep away from flammable items, especially items that can be moved such as curtains and clothes.
12) Ensure that the distance between the wall, ceiling, décor and other obstructions, the most basic requirements for the installation of the indoor unit: the left and right sides of not less than 12cm, the upper side of not less than 15cm, and the lower side of not less than 200cm (with the use of split wall-mounted units).
5.5.2 Outdoor unit:
1) Where the noise and airflow generated by the exhaust does not affect the neighbors.
2) A place with good ventilation to ensure that the outdoor unit is well ventilated.
3) There should not be any obstacle near the outdoor unit that prevents the unit from entering and leaving the air.
4) The installation location should be able to withstand the weight and vibration of the outdoor unit in a sturdy place, so as to avoid the spread of noise and vibration amplification, and to enable the installation work to be carried out safely.
5) There is no flammable gas, corrosive gas leakage.
6) Installation in the following places may cause the air conditioner to malfunction, if unavoidable, please contact the maintenance center:
a. Oil.
b. Salt and alkali areas near the sea.
c. Sulfur-containing gas (such as sulfurized hot springs).
d. Frequency conversion facilities, such as radio equipment, welding machines and medical equipment and other electromagnetic interference occasions.
e. Avoid installing on the side with high frequency of wind and sand, factory smoke exhaust, and sea breeze blowing.
f. Special environmental conditions.
7) Try to choose a ventilated place to avoid rain and direct sunlight, if unavoidable, should be protected by a canopy, but pay attention to the condenser should not be hindered by heat dissipation.
8) Try not to keep animals and planting flowers and trees in the installation place.
9) Avoid places where flammable or explosive gas leakage may occur.
10) Installation is easy to operate, strong wind can not blow, and dry ventilation.
11) The height difference of the connecting pipe of the split unit is within 5 meters, and the length of the connecting pipe is within 10 meters.
12) Cabinet connecting pipe height difference within 10m, connecting pipe length within 20m.
5.5.3 The installation of outdoor units should take into account the relevant requirements of environmental protection and cityscape, especially the installation of air-conditioners on famous buildings and ancient buildings, and buildings on both sides of the main streets of the city, and should comply with the relevant provisions of the cityscape.
5.5.4 Outdoor units of air-conditioners should not be installed in common places such as aisles, staircases and exits inside buildings.
5.5.5 The outdoor unit of the air conditioner should not occupy the public **** sidewalks, along the road on both sides of the building to install the air conditioner the bottom of the mounting bracket (mounting bracket does not affect the public **** access can be based on the horizontal mounting surface) from the ground should be greater than 2.5m.
The outdoor unit of the air conditioner should be as far away as possible from the neighboring party's doors, windows, and greenery, and the distance from the door and window of the neighboring party
a) 3m for air-conditioners with a rated cooling capacity of not more than 4.5kW;
b) 4m for air-conditioners with a rated cooling capacity of more than 4.5kW.
When it is not possible to meet the above requirements because of the conditions, it should be resolved through negotiation with the relevant parties or take corresponding protective measures.
5.5.6 The installation height of the air-conditioner connecting pipeline through the free space in the building should not be less than 2.5m from the ground, unless the pipeline is installed against the ceiling or approved by the relevant departments.
Connection piping for air-conditioners should not block passageways and should not normally pass through floors, slabs or roofs, otherwise appropriate measures for leakage prevention and electrical insulation should be taken.
5.5.7 The piping of the air-conditioner should be cased when passing through brick or concrete structures, and should be properly insulated and supported to prevent damage from vibration, stress or corrosion.
5.5.8 When flexible hoses are used, they should be well protected against mechanical damage and should be inspected periodically.
5.5.9 The piping and wiring of the air conditioner should be connected correctly and firmly, and the direction and bending degree is reasonable. Split unit installation height difference, connecting pipe length, refrigerant replenishment should be in line with the requirements of this standard and product specifications.
1.6 Installation surface of the air conditioner:
1) The installation surface of the air conditioner should be strong and sturdy, with sufficient load-bearing capacity. When the mounting surface is a wall or roof, it must be a solid brick, concrete or its strength equivalent mounting surface, and its structure and material should comply with the relevant requirements of the building code.
2) When the building is reserved for air-conditioner mounting surface, reinforced concrete structural elements of sufficient strength must be used, and its load-bearing capacity should not be lower than the actual weight (at least 200kg). And should give full consideration to the air-conditioner after the installation of ventilation, noise and amenities and other requirements.
3) Installation surface for wood, hollow brick, metal, non-metallic and other structures or installation surface decoration layer is too thick its strength is obviously insufficient should take appropriate reinforcement, support and shock absorption measures, in order to prevent affecting the normal operation of the air conditioner or lead to safety hazards.
