Shanxi Jinzhong Health School is located in Yuci Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province. The school was founded on 1947. After the establishment of People's Republic of China (PRC), Taigu Health School was founded successively by Fenyang Nursing School, Health School of Northeast Military Engineering Bureau (Taiyuan No.2 Health School), Taigu Nursing School and Rehabilitation Hospital. 1959 upgraded to Jinzhong medical college. 1962 medical school dismounted. 1975 changed its name to Jinzhong District Health School in Shanxi Province.

The school now covers an area of 1 18000 square meters, with a construction area of 500,000 square meters. It has a modern audio-visual education center, an experimental center, a library with 0/20,000 books, a 400-meter standard plastic track and other complete sports facilities.
