Laizhou City People's Hospital was founded in 1947, is currently the largest health care center in Laizhou City, Grade 2A hospital, the Department of Binzhou Medical College affiliated hospitals, Weifang Medical College and other six universities teaching hospital. The hospital covers a total area of 60,000 square meters, with a building area of 59,000 square meters and 810 open beds. There are now 838 employees, including 123 senior titles, 12 master's degree students, 246 intermediate titles, 40 graduate students, health professionals accounted for 88% of the total number of employees. There are 66 departments in the hospital, including 30 clinical departments, 17 medical and technical departments, and 19 functional and logistic departments. It is a large-scale general hospital with an annual outpatient capacity of 440,000, 36,000 discharges and more than 9,500 inpatient surgeries. The bed utilization rate remains above 90%.
