What are the differences between epe coils and sheets?

Expandable polystyrene is an ideal packaging material. Through the molding process, it can be processed into packaging products of various shapes and thicknesses as needed. Under high load conditions, the material achieves buffering and shock-absorbing functions through deformation, energy absorption, and energy decomposition, and also has the functions of heat preservation and insulation. EPS packaging products are generally white, and colors can be produced upon request. One is called pearl cotton board and the other is called EPS. The different compositions of the two result in different performances. EPE pearl cotton has advantages that ordinary foam plastics do not have, and is an ideal substitute for traditional packaging materials. When pearl cotton sheet packaging products are subjected to impact loads, the gas in the foam will consume and dissipate external energy through stagnation and compression. The foam body will gradually terminate the impact load with a small negative acceleration, so it has a good shock-proof effect. , but it will cause the bubble to break down. Since pearl cotton sheet products have low electrical conductivity, they are prone to self-charging during friction and will not affect general user products. However, for high-precision electronic products, especially large-scale integrated block structural components of modern electrical appliances, anti-static pearl cotton sheet products should be used. Lightweight, part of the space of pearl cotton sheet packaging products is replaced by gas, and each cubic decimeter of volume contains 3 to 6 million independent sealed bubbles. Therefore, it is several to dozens of times larger than plastic.
