Heze Medical College now has more than 12,000 full-time students, 597 full-time teachers, 363 part-time teachers. The school covers an area of ****1200 acres, fixed assets amounted to 1.1 billion yuan, the value of teaching instruments and equipment 110 million yuan, the library collection of paper books 1 million books. At present, under the care and support of the municipal government of Heze, the new campus covering an area of more than 1,100 acres is under construction and is expected to be put into use in 2021.

As of December 2015, Heze Medical College*** has two key construction majors supported by the central government, and three provincial characteristic majors; 29 provincial high-quality courses; and 14 school-level training bases.
In 2014, Wei Wei, a teacher at the school, won the third prize in the Fourth National Young Teachers' Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Medical (Pharmaceutical) Colleges and Universities, Liu Chunxia won the first prize in Shandong Province's Young Teachers' Lecture Competition, and Liu Huixia and six other teachers were awarded the second and third prizes in Shandong Province's microcourse competition.
