Introduction to Dentistry in New Zealand
The University of Otago is the oldest university in New Zealand. The university still has Gothic buildings from 1869 with pointed roofs that are really beautiful. These old buildings still play an important role as administrative buildings and museums. You can't buy a school's history, which is something the University of Otago is proud of. These old buildings are something they will cherish forever.
The University of Otago has New Zealand's first medical school and is the center of medical research on the South Island. It is world renowned because it was the first medical center to put IVF into practice. The University of Otago also has New Zealand's only School of Dentistry, which is ranked in the top 10 internationally and first in Oceania. Other non-medical departments, such as Physiological Anatomy, are also world-renowned. Emerging departments such as Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering or basic sciences such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics also offer courses. In addition, there are no subjects such as business or law. Especially business schools, like the University of Auckland Business School, are well known in New Zealand.

Description:Dental Technology is the technical aspect of dentistry. The job of a dental technician is to fabricate a variety of artificial fittings or appliances for the head and neck as prescribed by a dentist. Dental technicians do not have direct patient contact. Instead, they work in dental laboratories where various restorative devices are customized. Since these products can affect a person's health and appearance, technicians must be highly responsible and accurate.
