The hospital was kind enough to accept me and arrange for me to study with Dr. Zhang Youqin in the Chinese medicine department. I learned a lot from Dr. Zhang Youqin, even though it was only for ten days. Dr. Zhang taught some basic knowledge of Chinese medicine and also explained the use of blood pressure monitors. In the following five days, I was assigned to the hospital's medical guide office to learn how to be a qualified medical guide from my seniors. Before that, I thought it was very easy to be a doctor's guide, and I thought I was just giving patients directions and helping them out. But after doing it, I realized that it is not like that. Guide in the process of patients play a vital role in the process of medical treatment, patients come to the hospital for medical treatment, the guide's quality service will undoubtedly provide more convenience for patients. Patients will see us as soon as they walk through the door. For patients with questions, we will immediately get up to meet and answer the patient's questions. After the initial consultation, the guide doctor takes the patient to the registration desk and recommends the relevant specialist. I don't know anything but to learn how to greet patients, and the seniors were very eager to explain to me how to do it.
Social practice, so I know more about the importance of combining knowledge and practice. Learning is to get knowledge in theory, while practicing is to discover and solve problems in continuous self-activity. In practice, we have learned what is not in the books, practice also allows me to broaden my horizons, growth of talent, and recognize their own position, found their own shortcomings, their own value can be evaluated objectively.
