What equipment is needed to build a nursing home?

One type of home for the elderly: more than 120 beds for the elderly;

Two types of homes for the elderly: between 60-120 beds for the elderly;

Three types of homes for the elderly: less than 60 beds for the elderly.

Article 1

The construction of a home for the aged mainly includes building construction, site, building equipment and basic equipment.

Article 2

The housing construction of residential care homes for the elderly includes reception rooms; living rooms for the elderly, health care rooms, cultural and recreational rooms, rehabilitation and training rooms, psychological counseling rooms and hospice rooms, and other operational rooms; administrative offices and ancillary rooms.

Article 3

The rooms for the elderly in the homes for the elderly mainly include:

(1) Living rooms: including living rooms, bathing rooms, dining rooms, meeting and chatting rooms, and caregivers' duty rooms. In order to facilitate the life of the elderly, the living room can be equipped with a bathroom. The construction of the living room for the elderly in the home should meet the basic needs of the elderly in the home in terms of life and living.

(2) Health care room: provide diagnosis and treatment of common diseases, non-therapeutic medical care for common chronic diseases and general health care services for the elderly in the home.

(3) Cultural and recreational rooms: including chess and cards room, reading room and multi-functional activity room for the elderly to hold group activities, to meet the needs of the elderly to participate in cultural and recreational activities.

(4) Rehabilitation and training rooms: help the elderly use rehabilitation equipment to carry out rehabilitation and training activities, restore damaged body functions, and minimize the likelihood of the elderly becoming paralyzed, bedridden, and losing their ability to take care of themselves.

(5) Psychological Counseling Room: Social workers assess the situation of the elderly and then carry out case counseling to help the elderly get rid of their negative emotions and safely get through the crises they may encounter in old age.

(6) Hospice rooms: capable of providing humanized services, creating a family-like caring atmosphere, and minimizing the physical and mental pain and fear of the dying elderly.

Article 4

The site of the residential care home for the elderly shall include productive areas, outdoor activities, greening, parking, clothes drying and other sites.
