The hospital adheres to the social and psychological medicine model proposed by the World Health Organization for construction, setting up 600 beds, and the main large-scale medical equipment are imported from abroad.
The hospital is divided into three parts to start the construction, with a total construction area of 50,000 square meters, bringing together the modern style of building complexes in a staggered manner. West is the medical area, with inpatient wards, senior preventive health care and medical services (including outpatient units for foreign guests), primary preventive health care and medical services, foreign specialist outpatient clinics, outpatient and emergency centers, various medical and technical departments and medical facilities. There is a weatherproof shopping street of more than 100 meters between the inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. It sells medicines, medical and healthcare supplies, food and other items needed by hospitalized patients. To the east is the Health and Rehabilitation Center, with indoor and outdoor buildings*** totaling about 15,000 square meters, including 10 medical villas. The center provides health guidance, psychological and physical rehabilitation, nutrition, fitness, relaxation therapy, behavioral therapy, music and simulated scenario therapy, and other services, as well as a variety of recreational facilities. In the south, there is a Tibetan medical area, which consists of Tibetan Medicine Clinic, Plateau Disease Research Institute, Tibetan Medicine Research Institute, and Reception Office. The gate of the hospital faces the Second Ring Road, and there is a special emergency barrier-free access, and the roads and transportation in the hospital are convenient, all of which are barrier-free design, supplemented by large area of flowers and greenery, with 380 underground and ground parking spaces.
