Click the first button in the WebEx Recorder interface (see below), or select File→Open Application:

In general, to minimize the size of the file, select only the program that you want to show, and then select the program that you want to show. Step 2: Specify a save file
After selecting a recording range, WebEx asks the user to set up a file that will be used to save the recording. WebEx writes to the file as it records, which is nice. Step 3: Start recording
Once you have specified a file, WebEx brings up the recording panel (Figure 1 below). The three buttons on the top left are: Record, Pause, and End. Below that, you can set whether to record or not, and the microphone volume.
Clicking on the Record button changes the status of the buttons available (Figure 2 below). The two buttons on the right side of the top are Insert Marker (for later editing), and Screen Marker.

Some "advanced" tips:
When you run WebEx Recoder to record screen, you can set up relevant settings first. For example, set it to automatically hide the interface during recording, use ctrl+alt+p to pause and resume, and ctrl+alt+s to end the recording. If you need to insert bookmarks for subsequent editing, you can ctrl+alt+m. If you need to record audio, you can do it through the menu: Controls→Record Audio. For more advanced users, you can also set the recording parameters: Settings→Audio settings.
After the recording is finished, you can play back the results. You can also open Editor to do further processing, including: deleting redundant parts; re-recording part of the recording (correcting the original error); converting to wmv format. But be careful: it takes a long time to open the file and convert the format with Editor; and the volume increases and the quality decreases after converting to wmv.
