Personally, I don't need much equipment, just bring some money and have a good outdoor attitude. Seriously, I didn't want to go to Medog to see the Yarlung Zangbo River Grand Canyon, but I met a big brother in the "Ferry Inn" in Linzhi, and I was fooled in three or two times. I'm still wearing jeans!
If you are not at ease, prepare the following equipment:
1. Backpack, leggings, hiking shoes, or Green Army rubber shoes (available in Bayi Town), ponchos.
2. Compass, flashlight, toilet paper, alcohol, trekking stick.
3. Sleeping bag; Sleeping mat; Moisture-proof pad.
4. Rain-proof clothes, 3-4 pairs of underwear, 3-4 pairs of socks and sunglasses.
5. Drugs: anti-inflammatory drugs (spiramycin), gastrointestinal drugs (Modilin; Norfloxacin; Huoxiang Zhengqi water and cold medicine.
Note: What everyone cares about is the border card. Lhasa should do well, Linzhi will not do it now. According to my experience, I can do without it. I didn't do it when I went in August, and I didn't give it back.
Second, the itinerary
1. Day 1: Bayi Town, Linzhi is closed. Living in the Ferry International Youth Hostel, the conditions are very good. Tibetan quadrangles have internet access, 24-hour hot water, and you can meet people in the same industry. Rooms will be tight in peak season, so it is recommended to book in advance.
Reservation telephone number: 0894-583 1567
2. The next day: Bayi Town-Paixiang. It's about 90 kilometers, and it takes about 6 hours by car. This road passes the border station and stops for inspection.
3. The third day: Paixiangla Day. About 30 kilometers, about 6 hours. Lager has a place to live, but the conditions are not as good as Bayi Town. Let's make do!
4. Day 4: Lah-Khatami. About 35 kilometers, about 7-8 hours. Dirt road, there are hard stones in the mud, which is extremely embarrassing. Wearing military rubber shoes here will make you look thin. Khan also has a place to live, not to mention the conditions, just make do!
5. Day 5: Sweating and collapsing. This day's journey takes 1 1 hour. The mountain road is steep, and many roads follow the cliff, so be extra careful. You can stay in the hostel of the township government at night, and the conditions are slightly better.
6. Day 6: Back to my hometown-Medog. It took 9- 10 hours, which was much milder than the previous days. It was all hills. Medog county is on a hillside, and you can stay in the county government guest house at night.
7. Day 7: Take a day off in Medog County to recover.
8. Day 8: Medog -9- 10 hour on the way to Bomi (the place name has been forgotten), and there is a material transfer station to stay at night.
9. Day 9: Continue walking for 8-9 hours and stop at the transit station.
10. Day 10: Arrive in Bomi. Accommodation: bomi county Police Hostel can take a bath. You need to book in advance in the peak season. Tel: 13989945 193.
Third, matters needing attention
1. The first year is 1 1. The next year is 10. It is not advisable to go to Medog during this period, because snow will close the mountain. It's ok after mid-June, but it's best to avoid the rainy season from July to September, because there are many grasshoppers in the rainy season and the road is not good. Personally, I think it's best to walk in the middle of 65438+ 10, and you can also see Nange Bawa Peak.
For the sake of safety, it is best to get a border pass in Lhasa.
If you walk in the rainy season, you should pay attention to landslides and mudslides on the road. Sometimes heavy rain can wash away half the mountain.
Don't bring too many things, of course, you can hire porters, and you should bring medicines to prevent colds and stomach upset.
Don't just sit on the ground or fallen wood, even if you are tired, otherwise the grasshopper will climb on you soon. When you are tired, take a rest on crutches.
6. Against leeches, using pesticides or drugs on shoes and leggings has no effect, because rain and soil will soon make those drugs ineffective. Dealing with leeches means burning them to death, or beating the legs bitten by leeches. When the legs are heated, leeches are pushed out. (This is the experience of many hikers)
7. We should beware of grasshoppers storing beer.
8. Never find a porter. Very expensive, not cost-effective. Ask a few people to go by themselves. No problem.
