Zhejiang Hospital is a provincial-level Grade 3A comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention and health care. Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital is currently the largest in Zhejiang Province, integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, prevention, health care and rehabilitation in one of the three Grade A general hospitals, affiliated with the Department of Health of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang University School of Medicine and other medical schools teaching hospital. Zhejiang Cancer Hospital is a unit directly under the Department of Health of Zhejiang Province. Founded in 1963, it is one of the earliest four oncology hospitals in China. It is one of the earliest four specialized tumor hospitals established in China. It is the only Grade 3A specialized tumor hospital in Zhejiang Province. The hospital is an affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Zhejiang Medical College, and also a teaching hospital of Shaoxing College of Arts and Sciences and other six institutions of higher learning. Approved beds 1100, there are 28 wards and 20 beds ICU intensive care center.
