Device Manager provides a graphical view of the hardware installed on the computer. All devices communicate with Windows through a software called "device driver". Using Device Manager, you can install and update the drivers of hardware devices, modify the hardware settings of these devices, and solve problems.
You can use Device Manager to view and change device properties, update device drivers, configure device settings and uninstall devices, which is very important for computer application and maintenance. For example, when we use a camera and find that it is not available, we can first enter the device manager to check whether the camera hardware is recognized in the computer, so as to judge whether it is a camera problem, a driver problem or a computer setting problem. In addition, the device manager is also the original operation entrance for us to update and install drivers.
Using Device Manager, you can:
1. Determine whether the hardware on the computer is working properly.
2. Change the hardware configuration settings.
3. Identify the device drivers loaded for each device and obtain the information of each device driver.
4. Change the advanced settings and properties of the device. Install the updated device driver.
