Synopsis:

Michael Scofield is a lion in a desperate struggle to escape from prison, and his brother Lincoln Burrows is about to be sentenced to death in a few months. His brother Lincoln Burrows is due to be executed for murder in a few months, but Michael is convinced that he has been wrongly accused. In order to save his brother's life, Michael robs a bank and is sent to the same prison as Lincoln, Fox River State Prison. As a construction engineer, he knew the blueprints for the prison by heart, and escaping with Lincoln became Michael's sole purpose for being incarcerated.

Bellick, an older inmate rehabilitation officer, teaches Michael a lot about prison survival. Later, with the help of his cellmate Sucre, Michael begins to align himself with a wide range of other gangs, including former gang leader John Abruzzi, and notorious hijacker Charles Westmoreland.Outside of prison, Michael has only one ally - his defense attorney and longtime friend Veronica Donovan, who is also the former girlfriend of Lincoln's ex-girlfriend.

In the meantime, Lincoln's 15-year-old son, LJ, has started fooling around without the positive influence of Uncle Michael. Other characters include prison doctor Sara Tancredi, inmate Warden Pope, who disguises an almost father-son relationship with Michael.

Michael's days and nights in prison will unearth, step by step, a shocking conspiracy that has brought him to this point

Episode Synopsis

Episode 1

Michael Schofield armed himself with a gun and robbed a bank the day after completing his final tattoo. Upon his arrest he admits to the crime very cooperatively, and as a result the judge grants his request and sentences Michael to five years in Fox River Prison, a suburb of Chicago.

Michael is assigned to cell 40 in Building A. His roommate, Fernando Sucre, volunteers to introduce him to the prison's colorful cast of characters, but there is only one person Michael wants to meet: his brother, Lincoln Barrows, who has been sentenced to death. But getting close to Lincoln requires getting a job at the prison factory, which is in the hands of John Abbotts, a former gangster and today's prison sensation.

Michael tells visiting attorney Veronica not to spend time on his case, that Lincoln was framed, that he didn't murder the vice president's brother, and that if she's still thinking about her former romance with Lincoln, she should try to get to the bottom of it. As far away as Washington, D.C., Special Agents Hale and Clurman are concerned about Lincoln's death sentence, as Bishop Mike Morrow intends to get a reprieve for Lincoln.

Abstracts receives word from his men that someone knows the whereabouts of the witnesses who put him in prison, and in the prison's medical room, Dr. Sara discovers that Michael is reacting strangely to insulin injections, and Michael immediately asks inmate Sticky Notes to get him the medication he needs to disguise himself as a Type I diabetic.

Michael gets into the prison factory and meets his brother, Lincoln, who thinks an escape is impossible, and Michael shows him the secret hidden in the tattoos: the blueprints for the design of Fox River Prison.

Episode 2

Michael hints at a plan to escape to his cellmates, Westmoreland mocks him for trying to break out after three days in jail, and another crisis looms, with racial strife at Fox River Prison on the horizon.

Michael copies the words "Schweitzer Allen 11121147" from his arm tattoo and finds the screw with serial number 11121147, but the screw is snatched by the Backpack and given to his henchman, Maytag. Maytag. Michael tells Lincoln they will escape through the hospital, which is why he is disguised as a diabetic.

Tim Giles shows Veronica the videotape of the murder scene, and Veronica despairs as she sees that Lincoln did indeed raise his gun at the dead man in the car, but Lincoln explains that Stedman was already dead at the time, and that he didn't even pull the trigger. And Special Agents Hale and Clurman learned from Tim that Veronica was reopening the case.

Michael took the opportunity to approach Maytag during the prison riot to retrieve the screws, but Maytag was stabbed to death in the chaos, which "The Pack" blamed on Michael. Michael sharpened the screw into a screwdriver from the pattern on the tattoo and used it to unscrew the nut on the lavatory equipment.

Michael passed his diabetes test with the drug, but Dr. Sara was puzzled by the look of relief on his face when he was told he was diabetic. On the way back to his cell, prison guard Berwick reckons he left him with Abbotts' gang. Abbotts ordered Michael's toes to be cut off in order to torture the witness about the whereabouts of Fibonacci.

Episode 3

Dr. Sara Tancredi dresses Michael's wounds, but in order not to interfere with his escape plans, Michael asks Sara not to report the incident as a deliberate injury.

Lincoln and Michael take the opportunity to discuss the progress of the dig at work, and Michael decides to test his roommate Sucre's ability to keep a secret. Sucre, who misses his girlfriend Mary Cruz day and night, sees that Michael has hidden a cell phone, but under threat from prison guard Berwick, he reveals Michael's secret. But when he is threatened by guard Berrick, he reveals Michael's secret. The cell phone is only a soap-carved model, and an angry Sucre is switched to a different cell, where a mentally ill man named "Wire" becomes Michael's new roommate.

Because she was busy with the investigation, Veronica repeatedly refused her fiancé Sebastian's requests to marry her, and the two ended up breaking up. When Randica, the only lead in the murder case, is kidnapped and shot, Veronica realizes that she faces terrible resistance.

Abz changed tactics and set Michael straight with the Backpack, who was bent on revenge. When Abbotts asked when he would get the whereabouts of the witnesses, Michael replied, "When we break out of prison, you give me a plane and I'll give you Fibonacci."

Michael starts digging in the dead of night, but is horrified to find The Wire watching him. "The Wire calmly says that he never sleeps due to permanent nerve damage.

Episode 4

The Wire, who continues to refuse to take his medication for his mental illness, becomes so interested in Michael's tattoos that he follows him around and even rips off his clothes to copy them. Meanwhile, Sucre realizes that his girlfriend, Maricruz, is falling for the lies of her suitor, Hector, and fears that by the time his 16-month sentence is up, Maricruz may have already been taken from him.

Michael gets two chemicals from the prison's storeroom and from Abbotts, and takes the opportunity of an insulin injection to pour them into the hospital's sewers, where the two agents immediately undergo a violent chemical reaction and begin to corrode the water pipes. Michael returns to his cell and breaks his forehead on purpose, successfully removing the "wire" and welcoming back Sucre, who is also eager to break out of prison.

Veronica turns to Project Justice, an office that specializes in death penalty cases, and Nick helps her discover what's at stake in the murders. Secret agents Hale and Kleinman search Veronica's home and are alerted by a photo of her with Lincoln and Michael. Realizing Michael's bizarre criminal incarceration, the secret agents decide to transfer Michael to another prison immediately.

Episode 5

Warden Henry Pope refuses Michael's relocation order, and Hale and Clurman "convince" him with a classified document. Michael, Lincoln, Suckley and Abbotts gather in the shed to go over the details of the escape, unaware that Michael's relocation order has been approved.

The relocation order momentarily disrupted the escape plan, but with Westmoreland's guidance, Michael filed a formal complaint, a move that bought them at least 30 days.

Veronica and Nick asked an expert, Fink, to study a copy of the surveillance tape from the murder scene, and Fink realized that while the footage on the tape showed no signs of editing, the gunshots in it were clearly faked in post. Both Veronica and Fink are so encouraged that they immediately go to request a master copy of the videotape, only to be told that the master is no longer available due to a water pipe burst that has left the evidence room in shambles.

The passageway behind the cell toilet had been partially dug through, and Hale and Kleeman coerced Pope into destroying Michael's complaint with the secret of his illegitimate birth. Meanwhile, Michael, under the cover of Sucre and Abbotts, successfully previews a prison break, gauging the time it will take to break out and the speed of the police response.

At the last minute of being taken out of Fox River Prison, Pope appeared to leave behind Michael, who was determined to confess his past to his wife. And in Chicago, Veronica discovers that a copy of the videotape has been stolen and she turns her skepticism on Nick.

Hale and Clurman report the failure to their bosses behind the scenes, and the mysterious woman orders them to turn their attention to Lincoln: "There are many ways to dry out a death row inmate besides the electric chair."

Episode 6

Michael's digging hits a snag: a solid concrete wall. Though he's sure he can dig through it, multiple check-ins a day leave him with no way to meet his pre-planned escape schedule. Sucre proposes to provoke a riot, and the ensuing period of precautionary lockdown will bring plenty of time, so Michael manages to cause the prison's air-conditioning system to malfunction.

Veronica and Nick come to visit Lincoln with the good news that the 911 caller who claimed to have witnessed Lincoln's murder in the first place, although anonymous, Nick discovers that it came from as far away as Washington, D.C., which is not enough to postpone the death sentence but at least emerges as a direction for the investigation.

The sweltering heat of the cell finally triggers a riot among the inmates, and the Backpack leads a group of men who meet Lincoln and new guard Bob, who is taken hostage by the inmates as they try to protect Bob, who has always been very affectionate toward him.

To speed things up, Sucre and Michael go into a hole in the wall to dig, and the Pack throws the wounded Bob into their empty cell, where he crashes into a toilet seat and the Pack discovers Michael's secret.

Michael and Sucre are alerted to the noise and return to the cell, where Abbotts and Backpack suggest that Bob should be killed, but Michael puts a stop to it. Michael rushes to the hospital to save Sara, who is being held captive by a group of inmates on the monitor.

An awakened Lincoln is worried about his brother's safety, and an inmate named Turk takes advantage of the situation to lure him to an unoccupied dark room.

Episode 7

The prison riot continues to escalate as Michael scrambles through the ventilation system and crawls toward the hospital. Prisoner Gus offers Pope to restore the air-conditioning system as soon as possible or they'll go after the hostages in their hands, Bob and Sarah. Sucre repeatedly warns the Pack not to hurt Bob, and then digs into a hole in the wall alone. Abbotts, who sees the escape route for the first time, joins in the digging of the concrete wall.

The Governor of Illinois, Sara's father, arrives at Fox River Prison with the army and tells Popper that he doesn't care how many inmates die in the riot, but that Sara's safety is his only concern. Michael finally crawls up to the vent in Sara's office, and with the smoke from the inmates burning paper, he pulls Sara into the ventilation system.

Nick and Veronica arrive in Washington, D.C., where they discover that the victim Stedman's energy plan jeopardizes all sides of the oil industry, just as they receive a threatening phone call.

Lincoln struggles with Turk in a darkened steam room, and eventually Turk loses his footing and falls 20 feet, but he refuses to reveal his motives for plotting to kill Lincoln even as he dies. Sucre and Abbotts combined their efforts to punch through the concrete wall, and the prison break was getting closer.

Sarah escapes through the ventilation system with Michael's help, and the riot calms down, but the Pack takes advantage of the chaos to stab Bob to death, despite Michael and Abbotts' efforts to stop him.

Inside the ambulance, a stunned Sara begins to wonder why Michael is so familiar with prison construction.

Episode 8

Prison guard Berwick is desperate to catch Bob's killer, and "Backpack" threatens Michael and Abz that the first thing he'll do is reveal the escape plan if anyone gives him up. Abbotts expresses misgivings about Michael's plan: they can sneak into the hospital through a hole in the wall, but what about Lincoln, who is on death row in solitary confinement? Michael manages to talk Westmoreland into fireproofing one of the guard rooms, and when they are sent to clear the fire, takes the opportunity to dig through the drainage ditch located underneath the guard room.

Back in L.A., before Nick and Veronica can begin their investigation, there is a violent explosion in Veronica's apartment, and the pair, who survived, give up on the idea of calling the police and take refuge in a remote cabin to continue their research into the puzzling case. Lincoln's son, Ridger, was living with his stepfather, Adrian, when covert agent Clurman suddenly appeared at their place, and during the struggle both his mother, Lisa, and Adrian were shot, and Ridger ran out of the house barefoot, clutching the camera phone that had taken Clurman's picture.

"Backpack" instructed his follower Cherry to falsely accuse another inmate, Trocki, of being Bob's killer, and young Cherry wallowed in a deep sense of guilt.

Clurman and Hale report back to the Vice President on the results of the operation, and it turns out that she's behind all the conspiracies.

Episode 9

When he learns from the news that his son, Reggie, is on the run on a double murder charge, Lincoln remembers the threat he was told that "only one of us can survive," and recklessly pleads with Pope to allow him to leave prison under surveillance to search for his son, but there is nothing he can do about the plea.

A new group of inmates arrives at Fox River Prison, and just as Suckley observes the newcomers with interest, Michael watches Cherry commit suicide but can't do anything about it. ...... In another corner of the prison, there are keen eyes watching Michael and the others' every move.

Nick tells Veronica that although the investigation is fraught with danger, they can't hide and waste time any longer, and he decides to go to the widow of the victim first, and that Stedman's greatest enemy during his lifetime must be the mastermind behind all this.

Newly incarcerated Tuna, a mixed-race man, is ostracized by both blacks and whites in prison, and the Backpack takes the opportunity to approach him unsuspectingly. For the first time in years, Abbotts' credibility is shaken, and after delays in obtaining the whereabouts of witnesses, the mob designates fellow cellmate Gus to take his place, his monthly payments to guard Berwick are cut off, and the prison factory is no longer under his control.

Lincoln finally got word from his son that Lij had escaped the secret agent and gotten together with Veronica.

Episode 10

Abbots urges Michael to reveal the whereabouts of the witness Fibonacci as soon as possible, or they won't be able to use the prison factory work to cover their escape. Michael's moral heart endures a torment: can the life of another innocent man be jeopardized over this in order to save his brother?

Secret Agents Hale and Clurman receive a call from Vice President Caroline, who is quite unhappy with the pair's work, and that a man named Quinn will be coming to direct their operations. Clurman angrily confronts the Vice President and accuses him of not letting Quinn get involved in Stedman's murder because he represents "The Company", which is far more powerful than the Vice President or even the White House.

Michael is coerced into revealing the whereabouts of Fibonacci, and Abbotts regains control of the prison plant. Philip Falzone leads a team to Canada to murder Fibonacci, not realizing that hordes of police have been waiting for him.

Michael, Sucre, and Abbotts have basically dug through a drainage ditch underneath the ruins of the guardhouse, when the "note" who has been secretly observing them suddenly appears, forcing Michael to add one more person to his escape team.

Veronica replies to her ex-fiancé's greeting via chat, but on the other side of the Internet, Sebastian has already been shot and killed, and Quinn has tracked him down using the network.

Episode 11

The digging continues for Michael and the others, with the Backpack needlessly stirring up racial animosity with the Sticky Notes, when a lookout, Sucre, warns the group that the guards are coming. The guards are looking for Michael, and to the astonishment of the crowd, inform him that "Mrs. Schofield" is visiting. Michael meets Nika in the separate conjugal visiting room and she hands him a credit card. Westermorland is told that his daughter has esophageal cancer and has only a few weeks to live, but the court won't allow him to visit her unless it's for a funeral. Desperate, Westmoreland finds Michael, who wants to join them in their prison break program.

Nick tells Veronica that things have been going wrong for a long time, and that the truth about Stedman's murder is not only a matter of Lincoln's life and death, but also that there is evidence that the Vice President embezzled millions of dollars from Stedman's energy research program for the election. While this is happening, Quinn breaks into their hideout, Nick is wounded, and Veronica and Ridge struggle to break free of their bonds and escape into the jungle, tricking the tracking Quinn into a deep well.

Four days later it's time for the scheduled jailbreak, but Michael is preoccupied, telling Lincoln that after precise time calculations, a **** has 13 minutes to use for an escape, which takes two minutes per person, but now they have a total of **** seven people.

Episode 12

The Note overhears Michael's conversation with Lincoln, and when he tells Abbotts and Sucre that one of them will be left out of the escape plan, Abbotts decides to get rid of the Backpack, who is a constant source of trouble.

Veronica takes a bleeding Nick to the hospital, and Ridge sees an announcement in the paper about his mother's funeral, and he sneaks out of the hospital. Agent Hale stood guard at the cemetery and Ridger came into his sights. Clurman instructed Hale in a phone call to follow Ridger in order to find Veronica, but watching Ridger cry in pain at his mother's casket caused more and more pain inside an already shaken Hale.

Soakley's suspicions about Michael's plan are heightened by the note's provocations. Abbotts ordered his men to capture the Backpack, only to have his throat slit with a razor.

Veronica receives a mysterious phone call in which Hale says that if she's willing to risk her life to save Lincoln, she should go to the Highlander Coffeehouse that night, where he has some useful information.

Michael finishes the preparations for the escape plan, all the pipes have been opened, when on the ground, a lookout Lincoln spots prison guard Gori coming towards the guardhouse ruins, to buy time for Michael to climb out of the pit, Lincoln punches Gori in the face.

Michael climbs out of the hole and happily tells the group that tonight is the scheduled breakout time, but meanwhile, Lincoln is being dragged by two guards towards the solitary confinement cell ......

Episode 13

An injured Arbutus is picked up by a medical helicopter and traveled to Chicago for treatment. "The Backpack is grateful that there is one less escapee, and the Note adds that there are two less. At this point the severely beaten Lincoln was dragged into a solitary cell by Gowrie and locked to a steel door.

Michael inquires about Lincoln's whereabouts, and Pope tells him that they are unlikely to see each other again until Lincoln is executed. Michael states that he is holding off on his escape plans and that he wants to rescue Lincoln first, which is strongly opposed by the other escapees.

In the darkened cell Lincoln waits desperately for his fate. Nick tells Veronica that Lincoln's case may take a turn for the better, so she suggests that their discovery be made public.

Michael cuts open the tattoo with a razor blade and removes a black pill from the wound. Lincoln receives a rosary that Michael has asked a priest to pass on to him, containing the pill and a note saying, "Take it at 8:10." While dry humping in the guardhouse, Michael intentionally breaks a water pipe, buying more time for the escape.

Lincoln swallows the pills and loses consciousness as he struggles with the pain and is taken to the infirmary. Meanwhile Michael and the others spring into action and he is the first to jump into the hole. Hale prepares to tell Veronique the truth only to be interrupted by an uninvited guest, hiding as she witnesses his death at the hands of Canleman's gun.

Michael encounters an unexpected problem when the section of pipe that his hands had corroded is replaced. Michael hears Lincoln's voice and begins frantically prying at the pipe, desperate, he declares that they can't get out, when the Backpack hands over a knife "You can get us out".

Episode 14

Desperate, the Backpack pulls out a knife and threatens Michael to get them out of the prison, but the newly replaced tubes separate them from Lincoln in his hospital room.

Lincoln explains to Sara, who enters the room, that he got out of bed because he wanted to throw up, and then the guards come in and handcuff him to the bed. Berwick rushed to the guard room to see Michael and the others who had just burrowed out of the tunnels as if nothing had happened, he was filled with suspicion but found no break and had to order several of them back to their cells.

Michael met Sara in the infirmary and Lincoln in the other room, he wanted Sara to talk to her father about the case and clear Lincoln's name, Sara said there was nothing she could do. Nick and Veronica manage to convince the clerk to arrange for the judge to hear their complaint.

While letting off steam, Westmoreland makes a comment that gives Mike a new idea, short-circuiting the electric chair would buy him three weeks. Off to the side, Twina overhears the words. Michael, under the cover of Sucre, enters the tunnel to catch a rat, then sneaks into another pipe. Twiner's mention of the electric chair to Berwick alerted him, and a subsequent inspection revealed a dead rat on the high-voltage line, with a fuse blown as a result.

The courtroom's lack of substantial evidence and Veronica and Nick's impassioned speeches failed to convince the judge. Michael is shocked when he is ordered to see Lincoln one last time before his execution. Sara goes to Nick and Veronica and gets the materials from the Lincoln case to go to her father, Governor Tancredi, and ask him to take a closer look. The time for the execution arrives, and the last glimmer of hope is dashed when the Governor calls, intimidated by the power of the Vice President, that Lincoln shall not be pardoned. Veronica and Michael hugged Lincoln goodbye one after the other behind the yellow line and watched as he was led to the execution chamber.

Episode 15

In the nick of time, Lincoln's execution is put on hold when it turns out that new evidence has been discovered and Judge Kessler decides to stay the execution. Lincoln is certain that he saw his father, who has been away from home for nearly 30 years, in the viewing room, Mike tells him.

The vice president orders agents Kellerman and Samantha to find out who leaked the information that allowed Lincoln to escape. Judge Kessler, resisting pressure from the Vice President, insists that Terrence's body be opened. Unwilling to sit around and wait for the results of the investigation, Michael prepares to continue his escape plan, unlike the last time, instead escaping through the mental ward that uses a pipe with the infirmary***.

The vice president harshly criticizes the judge and Veronica's autopsy move in the media, while Terrence's coffin is exhumed and loaded into a car. Because the body was highly decomposed, the medical examiner took dental molds to compare with Terrence's previous ones and concluded that they were identical.

A large hole collapses in the wall of the guardhouse, which Michael and the others cover up to hide from Berwick. Lincoln, lying in his solitary confinement cell, remembers his childhood experiences watching football games with his father, and is struck by a familiar name. Michael, with Sucre's help, gets a prison guard's outfit and burrows into a hole in the ground to familiarize himself with the new route. When he passes through the steam room he gets burned and his clothes stick to his body, so he has to burn them when he returns to his cell. In the infirmary, the nurse tells Sara that the clothing fibers from Mike's wounds belong to a police uniform. Mike told Sucre that the piping diagrams in the psychiatric section were destroyed by the burns.

Episode 16

Three years ago, a man named Beau paid off a $90,000 debt for Lincoln and in exchange asked him to kill a man, Terrence, for himself. The vice president met with Terrance at a secluded residence in Montana, where he lost a tooth and complained that he had suffered too much.

Michael put on his best suit and left the apartment with a gun.

Being dry Michael and the others learned from prison guard Patterson that the professionals Berwick had hired would take over tomorrow and continue laying the interior carpeting. Michael decides to seal the hole with quick-drying cement and smash it open when the jailbreak takes place. As he is about to do so, the prison guards tell Michael to see Popper and ask the others to leave with him. Lincoln's execution was postponed until a week from Friday at midnight, before which he still couldn't go out to see anyone.

Nick, Veronica and Lil Jay return to the well where Quinn lost his life, where Lil Jay retrieves a cell phone from beside his body and discovers the names of two people on the wall of the well.

Faced with Pope's cross-examination, Michael refuses to talk and is put in the brig. He tore his clothes into strips of cloth to try to continue spelling out the map, but his brain was so confused that in his grief and anger he slammed the brick wall, leaving his hands covered in blood.

The Note, Backpack and Westmoreland want Sucre to seal the hole at night, but he weighs his options and offers to ask Backpack to do him a favor and get the map from another inmate who is a sexual deviant. He weighs his options and offers to ask Backpack to do him a favor and get a pair of women's panties from another sexually perverted inmate. That night, Sucre sneaks into the dry guard room through a tunnel, and after a busy day, he returns to his cell, where he is found in the courtyard, where he uses the panties as a cover, and Berrick believes him and only puts him in solitary confinement. Seeing Michael's injuries, the guards called for Sara.

LIJ got O. Kravecki's name and phone number off the Internet and called to hear a message answered by Agent Canleman. He found Owen Kravecki's home and before long Canleman entered, Lijer shot him and wounded him and was himself arrested by police. Berwick, who had gotten a tip-off from Tuna, searched the guardhouse, lifted the carpet but found nothing, and as punishment he put Tuna in a cell with Avocado, another psychopathic inmate.

Michael meets his former roommate, The Wire, who is interested in his tattoos, in the psychiatric ward's TV room, but The Wire doesn't seem to remember him.

Michael stays in the psychiatric ward, Sucre is in solitary confinement, and Berrick and Gori decide to "auction off" their cells for a profit. One of the inmates is willing to move in for $200, and Gori promises to have a leaky toilet fixed within 24 hours. The Backpack hears them and rushes to Westmoreland and Sticky Notes to discuss the situation, and they decide to buy the right to move in at any price. The greedy Gori raised the price to 500 dollars.

When Lincoln learns of his son Lil Jay's arrest, he insists on personally persuading his son to follow Veronica's lead, and she agrees to apply on his behalf. Instead of getting the money, the no-longer-lucrative "Sticky Notes" is brutally beaten by another group of black men, and "Backpack" says he can make money by gambling. "The Wire remembers the map and that Michael set him up, and Michael promises to take him with him when he escapes. Manchin in the laundry room sees the wound on Michael's back and associates it with the police uniform returned by Sucre.

At an electronics store, a man calls Nick "Savion" and reminds him not to forget his duties and to stay in touch. Canleman tells the Vice President that Lincoln's plans for his execution have been met with an out-and-out dry run by his father, and the Vice President decides to hide it from the company and go ahead and settle for Lincoln.

The Pack and the Sticky Notes are winning big at the poker table, but Gowrie raises the price to 700, and when he gets the Westmoreland watch, he goes back on his word, and the Sticky Notes and the others are reeling. "The Note" and the others are in an uproar but can't do anything about it, and Manchin, who learns of the escape plan, says he has a way to get Michael back in his cell. Lincoln is allowed to see Lil Jay, and Pope cautions him not to make trouble, and Lincoln assures him that he won't cause any trouble.

Michael tells Warden Pope that the burns on his back are from Gori's unsuccessful blackmail attempts. Believing this, Pope personally searches Gori's closet and finds a roll of bills and a pocket watch along with a burned police uniform. Michael is back in the cell he left behind.

The police car transporting Lincoln is overturned halfway across the country by a giant truck, leaving its occupants alive or dead.

Sucre is released from confinement and the escape team reunites, with Michael telling them that the doctor's office is the way to their escape, and that they must get the key to the room. That's when John Abbotts returns from his injuries and, looking like a devout believer, tells Michael he's still willing to provide the plane for the escape.

Berrick convinces Pope to hide Lincoln's disappearance from the public and start the trail on his own. The unconscious Lincoln is taken to a junkyard by a mysterious man who hides him.

Michael kisses Sara by surprise in the infirmary, but he is unable to steal the keys in the face of her questioning. Waking up, Lincoln recognizes the man in front of him as his father. His father tells Lincoln that he works for The Company, which holds the power of the state, and that they deliberately set him up to prevent him from leaving. Veronica reviews Quinn's phone records and becomes suspicious of a number in Montana.

The Backpack is skeptical and wary when Abbotts comes to see him and offers to write off the "razor blade throat" debt. Tuna, unable to tolerate the sexual abuse of fellow inmate Avocado, uses a razor blade
