Caregiver holding the elderly skills

The technique is as follows:

1. Adjust the posture: Have the elderly person sit on the edge of the bed or chair, with his/her feet on the floor and leaning forward slightly. The caregiver then stands to the side of the elderly, with one foot placed between the elderly's feet for better balance.

2. Holding the elderly: The caregiver passes his hands under the armpits of the elderly, wraps his arms around the elderly's chest and back, and presses his knees against the elderly's knee sockets to keep the elderly close to him. Then the caregiver slowly stands up, while adjusting the posture to ensure that the elderly are comfortable and safe.

3. Maintaining balance: After picking up the elderly, the caregiver should maintain balance and avoid rocking or sudden changes in direction, so as to prevent the elderly from feeling uncomfortable or having accidents.

4, put down the old man: when putting down the old man, the caregiver should slowly bend the knees, let the old man's body gradually down, and at the same time, use the arm to support the old man's back and hips, to ensure that the old man is safe on the ground.
