Introduction to the former site of National Southwest Associated University
Southwest Associated University was founded by Peking University, Tsinghua University and Tianjin Nankai University. At first, the third school moved to Hunan to form the Yangtze River Temporary University, which started in June 1937+065438+ 10/7. This day was later designated as the anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly. With the advance of Japanese invaders, Changsha fell into crisis and the third school moved to Kunming, Yunnan. On May 25th, 2006, the former site of National Southwest Associated University was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
