Methods of metal surface oxidation treatment are as follows:
One, electrophoresis
Electrophoresis, also known as - electrodeposition (by), swim paint, founded in the 1960s, was first applied to automobile primer by Ford Motor Company. Due to its excellent anti-corrosion and anti-rust function, it was soon widely used in the military industry. Only in recent years has it been applied to the surface treatment of daily-use hardware.
Advantages: no metallic texture, can be used with sandblasting, polishing, brushing, etc.; processing in liquid environment, can realize the surface treatment of complex structure.
Two, anodic oxidation
Mainly aluminum anodic oxidation, is the use of electrochemical principles, in aluminum and aluminum alloy surface to generate a layer of aluminum oxide film. This oxide film has protective, decorative, insulating, wear-resistant and other special characteristics.
Advantages: achieve any color except white; achieve nickel-free sealing, meet the requirements of Europe, the United States and other countries on nickel-free.
Three, micro-arc oxidation
is through the use of special micro-arc oxidation power supply voltage applied to the workpiece, so that the metal on the surface of the workpiece interacts with the electrolyte solution, the formation of micro-arc discharge on the surface of the workpiece, in the high temperature, the electric field, and other factors, the formation of ceramic film on the metal surface, to achieve the purpose of strengthening the surface of the workpiece. Micro-arc oxidation is mainly for aluminum, magnesium, titanium, zirconium, niobium, thallium and other valve metals.
Advantages: simple pre-treatment, excellent corrosion and weather resistance, good heat dissipation performance; wide range of substrates: Al, Ti, Zn, Zr, Mg, Nb, and their alloys.
Four, powder coating
Powder spraying equipment (electrostatic spraying machine) to spray powder coating to the surface of the workpiece, under the action of static electricity, the powder will be uniformly adsorbed on the surface of the workpiece to form a powder coating; powder coating after high-temperature baking and leveling curing, into the effect of the final coatings of different (powder coating of different types of effects).
Features: rich color, high gloss, matte optional; masking defects ability; lower cost, suitable for construction furniture products and heat sink shell, etc.; high utilization rate, 100% utilization, environmental protection.
Fifth, electroplating
Electroplating is the use of electrolysis to make the surface of the metal attached to a layer of metal film process so as to prevent corrosion, improve abrasion resistance, electrical conductivity, reflectivity and enhance the role of aesthetic and other technology.
Features: high gloss plating, high quality metal appearance; substrate for SUS, Al, Zn, Mg, etc.; the cost is relatively low compared to PVD. However, the environmental protection is poor and the risk of environmental pollution is high.
