In the near future, medicine has advanced tremendously. If you have organ failure or a lesion, you don't even have to wait for a donor to donate an organ or use an organ taken from a genetically modified animal, you can get an artificial organ for a sum of money - of course, the organ and the surgery aren't cheap, but the company that majors in this business, The Union ( The Union, which specializes in this business, has come up with an excellent solution for you - pay in installments. But the owners of The Union are no philanthropists, and whenever a

patient can't pay the bill anymore, they send their own company's repo men out to those patients to retrieve their products. There is no reason, no excuse, just the "system" of shooting to kill and retrieving organs. This is what makes many ordinary people who have been transplanted with artificial organs live in fear every day.
Remy (Jude Law) is employed by the Federal Corporation, where he is the most athletic and promising repo man. But once, during a job to retrieve an artificial organ, Remy suffers heart failure and fails to finish the job. When he woke up, he realized that he had the Federation's newest and top-of-the-line artificial heart implanted in his chest. Forced to use the artificial organ, Remy faces high user fees. The company promises that he can go back to work when he is healed, but he realizes that this new heart can't handle the weight of his work, and there is no way for him to cut open a human body with a scalpel to remove the organ again, which means that he will never be able to work as a repo man again. One day, when he can't pay back the fee, the Federation sends its most ruthless repo man, Jack (Forrest Whitaker), a former partner of Remy's who grew up with him and is very good with his hands, after he goes after Remy.
Remy has gone from hunter to hunted, from powerful to vulnerable. Will he be able to use his kung fu and precision shooting to escape and get a new life? And will this cold-blooded and evil company eventually be driven to its own destruction?
