Why is the utilization rate of domestic stents even higher? Economic factors cannot be ignored. At present, the cost of a domestically produced stent ranges from 8,000 yuan to 12,000 yuan, while the cost of an imported stent ranges from 15,000 yuan to 22,000 yuan, with a difference of nearly double. Another important reason is that the quality of the domestic stents is very good, or else the operators of life-threatening interventional procedures would not be so relieved to use so many domestic stents.
And judging from clinical results and large-scale trial data, there is no difference between the domestic stents of the three major domestic manufacturers mentioned above and the imported stents. Of course, another point is that different stents have different characteristics, not one product can cover all lesions, so the operator will also choose different stents according to different lesions, the domestic stents have more models, more suitable for the Chinese physique, which is also an indisputable fact.
