In modern clinical medicine, ventilator, as an effective means to replace the function of spontaneous ventilation, has been widely used in respiratory failure caused by various reasons, anesthesia and respiratory management during major surgery, respiratory support treatment and emergency resuscitation, and occupies a very important position in the field of modern medicine. Ventilator is an important medical equipment to prevent and treat respiratory failure, reduce complications, save and prolong patients' lives.
Regarding the use of ventilator, I don't know whether to ask invasive ventilator or noninvasive ventilator. Invasive ventilator is a kind of ventilator used for oral and tracheal intubation, which is usually used in hospitals. Domestic ventilators are generally non-invasive ventilators. In the process of using non-invasive breathing, we should pay attention to the following questions:
First of all, the noninvasive ventilator should find a mask suitable for the patient's face size. Because the mask should be close to the facial skin, it needs to be sealed to ensure that it does not leak during use. Once air leakage occurs, the treatment effect will be poor. Secondly, connect the pipes well, and the pipes of the ventilator should also have a certain tightness, otherwise it will leak.
Thirdly, all ventilators have humidifiers, so it is necessary to add physiological saline to the humidifier before use, which can avoid the airway of patients from being too dry during the use of the ventilator. Finally, regarding the parameters of the ventilator, it is not recommended that patients debug the parameters at home. Doctors need to adjust a parameter according to the patient's condition in the hospital. After the parameters are debugged, they cannot be changed. Patients only need to wear a mask every day and turn it on.
