2023 Zhengzhou Health Vocational College starts on September 1st. Zhengzhou Health Vocational College (Zhengzhou Health Vocational College), is approved by the People's Government of Henan Province, the People's Republic of China *** and the State Ministry of Education for the record of a public full-time general higher vocational colleges and universities, is the Ministry of Education nursing shortage of talent training base, vocational education characteristics of institutions in Henan Province.

The school was founded in 1951, formerly known as Jiaozuo Health School of Plain Province, and then changed its name, relocated and expanded several times, through Zhengzhou Medical College, Zhengzhou Municipal School of Hygiene, and was approved by the People's Government of Henan Province to set up Zhengzhou College of Hygiene and Health Professions in 2018.

As of April 2021, the school covers an area of 623.7 acres, with a planned construction area of 275,000 square meters; it has three teaching departments and four teaching divisions, with 14 specialized majors; there are more than 7,000 students and 300 teaching staff.

In March 1951, the school's predecessor, Jiaozuo Health School in Jiaozuo City, Minsheng West Street, the Fire God Temple was founded. 1953, moved to the northeast corner of Jiaozuo, the new site, renamed Jiaozuo School of Medicine in Henan Province. In July 1956, moved to Zhengzhou City, South Cai Shi Street, No. 120, renamed Zhengzhou Second Health School. September 1958, upgraded to Zhengzhou First Medical College.

Conditions for Schooling

As of April 2021, the school has three teaching departments and four teaching divisions, offering nursing, midwifery, rehabilitation therapy technology, Chinese medicine and rehabilitation technology, health management, rehabilitation engineering technology, medical equipment application technology, Chinese medicine and health care, geriatric health care and management, traditional Chinese medicine, pharmacy, medical testing, Optometry technology, beauty and body art and other 14 majors.

As of April 2021, the school has 300 staff members and 186 full-time teachers. Among them, there are 119 teachers above associate level, accounting for 64% of the full-time teachers; 94 teachers with doctoral or master's degree or above, accounting for 50.54%; 101 "dual-teacher" teachers, accounting for 54.3%.
