How to use keyboard or hotkey to boot?

1. If the computer case is placed in an inaccessible place, it is a good scheme to use the keyboard to boot. However, it should be noted that this function only supports keyboards connected with PS/2 interface, but not with USB interface.

2. when the prompt "Press DEL to enter SETUP" appears at the bottom of the screen, press the "Del" key immediately to enter the CMOS setup program. Also, press F2, F1, etc., carefully look at the screen prompts during the boot process, and follow the prompts to enter the BIOS.

3. enter Power Management Setup.

4. after entering the Power Management Setup and seeing the following interface, set the Power On By Keyboard to Password.

5. enter 1 to 5 power-on passwords in KB Power ON Password, such as m, and then confirm the passwords again. Press F1 to save and exit.

6. In this way, you don't have to press the power-on button when you start the computer in the future. Just press O+Enter on the keyboard to turn on the computer!

The second method:

1. Buy a keyboard with independent power buttons, usually a multimedia keyboard.

2. Install the driver of the multimedia keyboard, and then you can use the keyboard to turn the machine on and off. Note that the keyboard can only be ps/2 interface, otherwise the keyboard can't be turned on and off.
