The steps to make ico icon files with PS are as follows:
Premise:
1, if it is an old version of PhotoShop, or a new version but a simplified version, please go to the Internet to download plug-ins can be saved ico format: ICOFormat.8bi.(.8bi is the extension name of the saved format). Then put it in the format file in the directory or (in English that is) Photoshop CS6\Plug-ins\File Formats.
2, if it is a new version such as: Adobe?PhotoShop?CS6. or download ICOFormat.8bi and put it into the appropriate file price after you can continue to operate.
Production steps:
Method one, open ps, directly New ctrt+N, new height and width of 256 pixels for the size of the image, (I personally test, when the height and width of any greater than 256 pixels, then, save can not be ico format), the control of the height and width of the pixels is less than 256, and then dragged into the their own images, save as ctrt+shift+s --Select save ico format. That's it, when the dialog box appears, just choose the second option.
Method two, open ps, open their own pictures, ctr+alt+i adjust the image size, control height and width less than 256 pixels, this also experimented with, when greater than 256 pixels as shown in Figure:
When less than or equal to 256 pixels, as shown in the figure, then you can save it, save it in ico format can be selected, at this time the file is almost less than 150K
