What are the contribution bases and rates for Danzhou City, Hainan Province for pension, unemployment, work injury, maternity and medical insurance in September 2012?

(1) Contributions are based on the insured's monthly taxable wage and salary income. If the participant's monthly taxable wage or salary is higher than 300% of the average monthly salary of the on-service workers in the previous year in the province, 300% of the average monthly salary of the on-service workers in the previous year in the province will be used as the basis for the contribution; if the participant's monthly taxable wage or salary is lower than 60% of the average monthly salary of the on-service workers in the previous year in the province, 60% of the average monthly salary of the on-service workers in the previous year in the province will be used as the basis for the contribution.

(2) For urban individual industrial and commercial households and flexibly employed persons, the average monthly salary of on-the-job employees in the previous year in the province shall be the contribution base.

(3) For those who are insured in the two independent co-ordination areas of Zengcheng and Conghua, and whose monthly taxable wages and salaries are less than 60% of the average monthly salary of on-the-job employees in the previous year in the province, they may choose to pay contributions based on not less than 60% of the average monthly salary of on-the-job employees in the previous year in the co-ordination area, and then gradually transition to 60% of the average monthly salary of on-the-job employees in the previous year in the province as the basis for payment; and for those who are urban individually-owned businesses and flexibly employed, the base figure is not less than the average monthly salary of on-the-job employees in the previous year in the province. The urban individual industrial and commercial households and flexibly employed persons can also start from 60% of the average monthly salary of the on-service workers in the previous year in the co-ordination area, and gradually transition to the average monthly salary of the on-service workers in the previous year in the province.

Participating in the city (including Panyu District, Huadu District, Conghua City, Zengcheng City, four independent coordinating area, the same below) basic pension insurance co-ordination of the insured units and insured, since July 1, 2007, to pay the basic pension insurance premiums at a rate of 20% and 8% respectively. Among them: private enterprises, private non-enterprises, natural persons more than 50% of the total amount of capital injection of insured units and participants, the rate can be 12% and 8% respectively; non-urban workers, insured units and individuals to pay old-age insurance premiums can be 12% and 8% respectively.

When a participant reaches the national retirement age but has not paid enough contributions to qualify for a monthly basic pension, can he or she continue to make contributions?

Participants with household registration in the province who last participated in basic pension insurance in the city and do not meet the conditions for receiving monthly basic pension when they reach the state retirement age (for those who are not household registration in the city, they must have last paid contributions in the city for more than five consecutive years) can continue to make contributions upon application
