Medical rehabilitation equipment children's toys

The work of medical staff is closely related to everyone's health, noble and busy. It is precisely because of the particularity of my career that I usually lack the company of my children. In order to make the "second generation of doctors" know more about the medical industry and understand the difficulties of doctors and parents, the Medical Social Work and Volunteer Service Department of the Third Hospital of Shandong Province held a wonderful "doctor inheritance" professional experience activity for the children of our hospital staff on the occasion of the second Physician's Day.

By visiting the hospital, the "second generation of doctors" learned about the work content and responsibilities of key positions, further understood the working environment of their parents, and felt their busyness and hardship. At the same time, learning medical knowledge and first aid skills through interactive experience and learning to be a "little doctor" have also satisfied children's curiosity about medical exploration, made children realize the importance of health and the sacredness and mission of their parents' work, and planted medical seeds in their hearts.

At the beginning of the activity, 16 campers took out their children's books one after another and prepared to donate them to the hospital for children and patients in the hospital to read. They carefully wrote words of blessing for young patients in the book, encouraging them to actively treat and recover as soon as possible.

When visiting the rehabilitation nursing home, all kinds of rehabilitation equipment dazzled the children. Under the guidance of the rehabilitation teacher, the children went into battle in person to experience and feel the convenience of high-tech equipment. You can let the eraser in the computer wipe the blackboard by raising your arm, and you can run freely according to the intention of the experiencer by stepping on the bicycle on the pedal screen. Children say this rehabilitation training method is amazing and cool!

Back to the experience camp, the interactive game "Health Guardian" began. By making dolls and discussing the cases of rehabilitation patients, children can think about the feelings and needs of the protagonist, so as to better understand the disabled, the elderly and vulnerable groups. At the same time, it also discusses how to avoid health and safety problems, so that they can deeply realize that they should be responsible for their own health and safety.

In the subsequent "life guard" and "emergency task" sessions, the children became "emergency doctors" and "emergency personnel" again and again. They not only earnestly studied the knowledge of first aid, practiced cardiopulmonary resuscitation, visited the 120 ambulance, and mastered the skills of how to dial 120 correctly, but also listened to the stories told by emergency nurses and learned to save lives.

The experience of ophthalmologists is also deeply loved by children. By learning the knowledge of vision protection and operating the optometry instrument by hand, children can realize the importance of vision protection.

In the final game interaction-the "wounded" session, the medical social worker asked the children to paste the injured parts with stickers of different colors according to their own weight. As a result, in just a few minutes, the "injured" were covered with small stickers from head to toe, and the children had all kinds of bumps at an early age, which was really distressing and a bit unexpected. In the subsequent sharing, the children summed up various unsafe factors such as pistol toys, roller skating, running fast and walking backwards. And actively enhance safety awareness.

At the closing ceremony, in order to enhance the children's sense of identity and belonging, medical social workers awarded each camper a certificate of completion and a medal of "Life Guardian", hoping that the children could feel the pride of their parents as life guardians, and at the same time remind themselves to protect their health and safety and be their own life guardians.

In fact, whether they will choose to be a medical worker in the future or not, the experience on the day of the activity made them realize the happiness and significance of engaging in medical work, and they were proud of their parents' sacred profession.
