He served as workshop director, quality inspection department director and deputy general manager of Wuxi Machine Tool Factory from February 1972 to November 1997. From December 1997 to April 2004, he served as deputy general manager of Yanmar Agricultural Machinery (China) Co., Ltd. , served as the general manager of Wuxi Hualde Ultrasonic Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. from April 2004 to April 2006.
