All departments that use disposable infusion (blood transfusion, injection) and other medical supplies should designate special personnel to manage, use, disinfect and recycle, and have records and signatures. Disinfection should be carried out: the disinfectant should be prepared accurately, and its concentration should be monitored with chlorine-containing test paper every day. The effective chlorine content is 5mg/L, and the disinfectant should be replaced every three days. If it is polluted, it should be replaced in time and recorded. The classification of disinfection barrel marks is obvious. Plastic barrels are numbered one, two and three, the first barrel is used for disinfecting infusion sets, the second barrel is used for disinfecting syringes, and the third barrel is used for disinfecting infusion set needles and syringe needles. Transfusion sets and syringes are sent to the supply room to be replaced with old ones, and blood transfusion sets, needles, scalp needles, drainage tubes and urinary tubes are all incinerated.
The supply room will carefully check and register the recovered disposable infusion sets and syringes, destroy them, disinfect them, dry them, and then pack them in woven bags or yellow plastic bags for recycling. Shape destruction must be achieved by cutting two knives into three sections, one knife at the joint of the infusion set plug and one knife at the dropper, cutting the joint between the syringe and the needle and pulling out the needle plug.
2. Management of discarded disposable medical supplies
The hospital will assign a special person to take charge of recycling the discarded disposable medical supplies, and the time will be arranged between 3-5 pm every day. Special departments will be on call for timely recycling, with records and signatures.
3. Incinerator management
The incinerator shall be managed by a special person, and the recovered disposable medical supplies shall be burned on time, and the quantity and times of recovered incineration items shall be recorded and signed.
4, supervision and management
Hospital infection management department, nursing department, logistics, specifically responsible for the supervision and guidance of the hospital's disposable medical supplies after use, disinfection, recycling, incineration and strict supervision to the designated plastic factory (Heze Jin Xin Plastic Factory) for recycling.
5. Administrative punishment
Anyone who finds that disposable medical supplies are not disinfected, disfigured, burned, recycled or sold to illegal vendors after use shall be given administrative sanctions in addition to investigating the legal responsibilities and economic penalties of the parties concerned.
