The ship is equipped with advanced communication system and teaching color closed-circuit television system. There are only three sea map rooms, as well as a teaching command center and a teaching color closed-circuit television system. On this ship, students can carry out internship training in more than 40 subjects such as navigation, communication, electromechanical, weapons, naval art and medical treatment at the same time. The ship is equipped with a LAN covering the whole ship and a "black box" system, which can automatically record all kinds of data of the ship for 45 days.
The "Zheng He" training ship can train and sail for a long time in various sea areas. The ship is equipped with more than ten advanced learning and training cabins, which can guarantee more than 200 students to carry out comprehensive training at sea at one time.
