1. Preparation before ECG examination
Electrocardiogram and ECG exercise test, which are commonly used to diagnose cardiac lesions at present, should be quiet and rest for about 5 minutes before ECG examination, and should not be carried out after running, having a full meal, having a cold drink, or smoking, or else it can lead to abnormalities of the electrocardiogram, which will affect the judgment on the disease.
2. Preparation for EEG
Hair should be washed the day before the EEG and no hair oil should be used.
Sedatives, excitatory thorns and other drugs that act on the nervous system should be stopped 24 hours before the examination so as not to affect the accuracy and authenticity of the examination results.
3. Laboratory inspection notes
If you need to draw blood with biochemical indicators, you should draw fasting blood before breakfast, so that the results are more accurate. Especially check liver function, fasting blood glucose, lipids and other items, the fasting requirements are more stringent.
4. CT examination notes
CT examination, can not wear metal objects, can not take metal drugs a week before the examination.
Abdominal CT examination must be prohibited from food and water, in order to avoid the formation of artifacts, affecting the quality of CT images. CT examination of other parts of the body does not have to be fasting and water.
5. Notes on ultrasound examination
When conducting ultrasound examination, patients should pay attention to the following points:
The ultrasound examination of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas should be conducted on an empty stomach before breakfast, and should not eat or drink.
Patients who have ultrasound examination of bladder, prostate, uterus and uterine adnexa should empty their bowels, drink plenty of water and hold their urine in order to fully fill the bladder.
For thoracic, abdominal, pericardial cavity examination, if there is fluid, the doctor positioning, do not scrub off the positioning of the potion markers, which is the doctor's choice of location before puncture.
Additionally, patients who have had barium meal contrast and radioisotope examinations should not have an ultrasound examination within a short period of time.
6. Preparation before fiberoptic endoscopy
Fiberoptic endoscopy can be divided into bronchial fiberoptic examination, fiberoptic gastroscopy and fiberoptic enteroscopy.
Bronchial fiberoptic examination, 4 hours before the fasting, water, so as not to cause vomiting due to the stimulation of the examination. Those who wear dentures should remove them before the examination to prevent them from falling off and accidentally entering the trachea or esophagus.
Gastroscopy, it is best to choose before breakfast, to prevent vomiting during intubation and the effect of food on the examination, the examination should also be emptied before the bowel movement.
Colonoscopy should be performed 3 days before eating less crumbly food, taking a laxative the day before the examination, and taking an enema 3 hours before the examination in order to empty the feces in the intestinal lumen.
7. Preparation before contrast examination
Contrast examination can be divided into cholangiography, cardiovascular contrast and urological contrast and so on.
When the biliary tract is examined by oral contrast, the day before the examination, you should eat greasy food at noon to promote the emptying of the gallbladder, and the dinner should be free of oil and high sugar. After dinner, you should take the contrast agent at around 7 p.m. and then fast according to your doctor's instructions.
For venography, eat a fatty meal at noon the day before the test and fast on the morning of the test.
Fasting should be done 3 to 4 hours before the selective cardiovascular angiography, and the movements that need to be done during the examination, such as inhalation and closure, should be practiced carefully in order to cooperate with the examination.
Soft food should be eaten for dinner the day before the urological and male reproductive system imaging, and laxatives should be taken in the evening to remove gas and feces from the intestinal lumen. The urine should be emptied before the examination.
