I think there are a lot of photos like that.
In learning photography, we are always learning about equipment, composition and light... Slowly, our photography skills become more and more familiar. However, I always feel that these works are just like some pretty vases, with only appearance but no substantial content. The learning of photography had reached a bottleneck position, and I was perplexed that I had been unable to improve to a higher level. In the face of confusion, I can't help but ask myself:What is lacking in our works? As a matter of fact, what our works lack is rich emotion. Flowers are colorful and people have worldly desires. Emotion is the nature of every human being and the most basic tone of human life. However, people are different from each other and emotions are expressed in a variety of ways. Because of this, whether or not your photography has your emotions will determine whether or not your work can reach a higher level.
Many times you will marvel at the clever composition and lighting of these works, and the reasons why the author's imagination is so rich. The truth is that you own the imagination and the work of whatever emotion is present at the time of the shot. Emotional photography is what the photographer feels in the truest sense of the word. When you see everything in front of you, everything in front of you is the scene and the mutual care within you. Photographing the same scene will be different due to the different emotions in my mind.
So photography always starts with our emotions. Photographs are not taken by the camera, they are taken by us. A successful photograph reveals or hides the photographer's thoughts, a subjective emotion that shines through at a particular time or situation. Photography can be described as a process of emotional release for the photographer. Many people will admire your work and say, "Your work is so beautiful." However, the work is too beautiful to express the inner feelings of the photographer. It is like a dish that has both color and aroma, but tastes bad and won't leave any good impression on you. Photography should also emphasize substance. The proper expression of emotions determines the quality of the work. So these are the reasons for photos that make you feel strong emotions. The above is only a personal opinion.
