Article 17 Medical and health care institutions shall establish temporary storage facilities and equipment for medical waste, and shall not store medical waste in the open air; the time of temporary storage of medical waste shall not exceed two days.

People's governments at or above the county level, other relevant departments in their respective areas of responsibility for the supervision and management of medical waste disposal.
Article VI Any unit or individual has the right to health care institutions, medical waste disposal units and supervision and management departments and their staff to report violations, complaints, whistleblowing and accusations.
