During the visit, the students watched a short video on the activities of the Society of Good Samaritan Medical Association (SSSMA) and gained an initial understanding of the history and mission of SSSMA. The introduction by Mr. Cheuk Shun Fat, JP, the Honorary Executive Chairman of the Society, gave the students a deeper understanding of the values, spirituality, fees and service operations of the Society. The visit not only enhanced the students' sense of social responsibility, but also enabled them to appreciate the importance and impact of philanthropy.
This activity embodies the spirit of "A strong youth is a strong nation, a youth is the hope of the country, a youth is the future of the country". Through hands-on experience and learning, the students of Deming Middle School were able to recognize the society and understand the value of charity, and at the same time lay a solid foundation for becoming pillars of the society in the future. The visit to the Good Samaritan Medical Center is not only a vivid education for the students, but also a valuable cultivation for future contributors to society.
