Aluminum plate welding technology and welding equipment

Welding of aluminum Aluminum plate is widely used in industry. Its advantages are concentrated heat, stable arc, dense weld metal and high joint strength and plasticity. The weld is beautifully formed, and high-quality welded joints can be obtained. Before welding, the oxide film and oil stain on the surface of welding joint and welding wire on the workpiece should be strictly removed, and the workpiece should be slowly heated to about 100 ~ 300℃ during preheating.

Welding equipment generally adopts AC power supply, and the purity of argon gas is not less than 99.9%. In order to prevent cracks from occurring during arc striking and arc closing, arc striking and arc extinguishing plates are sometimes needed. When the arc burns stably and the tungsten electrode is heated to a certain temperature, the arc can be introduced into the welding zone, and attention should be paid to protecting the aluminum oxide film with anti-corrosion effect after welding.
