The way data is transmitted in the 5GNR architecture does not include backhaul.

5GNR is a global 5G standard based on a new air port design based on OFDM.5G networks are digital cellular networks in which the service area covered by a provider is divided into a number of small geographic areas called cells. Analog signals representing sound and images are digitized in the cellular phone, converted by an analog-to-digital converter and transmitted as a bit stream.

All 5G wireless devices in the cellular communicate via radio waves with local antenna arrays and low-power automatic transceivers (transmitters and receivers) in the cellular. In the 5GNR architecture, the source server simply sends content to individual proxy servers, making it easy for users to access content from nearby proxies with sufficient bandwidth, reducing network latency and improving the user experience.

Network characteristics of 5GNR architecture

1. Peak rate needs to reach Gbit/s standard to meet the transmission of large amount of data, such as high-definition video and virtual reality.

2. The air interface latency level needs to be around 1ms to meet real-time applications such as autonomous driving and telemedicine.

3, large network capacity, to provide hundreds of billions of devices connection capacity, to meet the Internet of Things communications.

4, spectrum efficiency should be more than 10 times higher than LTE.

5, continuous wide-area coverage and high mobility, the user experience rate reaches 100Mbit/s.

6, the traffic density and the density of the number of connections increased dramatically.

7, the system synergistic, intelligent level of enhancement, the performance of multi-user, multi-point, multi-antenna, multi-uptake collaborative networking, as well as flexible automatic adjustment between the network.
