Puyang Medical College is a public college, the school is a nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, oral medicine technology, rehabilitation therapy technology, medical testing technology, health management, medical equipment maintenance and management of eight specialties.

Puyang Medical College is located in Puyang City, which enjoys the reputation of "Dragon Capital of China" and "Imperial Capital of China", and covers an area of 685 acres, with a building area of 178,000 square meters. The first half of the provincial government and the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the record.

The school now has 315 full-time teachers, 169 with senior titles, 59 with postgraduate degrees, and more than 6,500 students. It offers eight specialties, including nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, oral medicine technology, rehabilitation therapy technology, medical testing technology, health management, and medical equipment maintenance and management.

In recent years, the school's cultural construction, teaching and research work has been effective, teachers and students have achieved excellent results in Henan Province and the national skills competitions. 2016, in the "search for the most beautiful building in Henan," sponsored by the provincial housing and construction departments, the campus complex was awarded the second prize for its "beautiful environment and distinctive style". The school has been in contact with a number of well-known medical colleges and universities inside and outside the province, and has successfully co-organized adult college and undergraduate education in clinical and nursing specialties; it has signed a framework agreement on strategic cooperation with Taipei Medical University, and is in the process of negotiating a number of cooperation in specific areas, such as teaching, scientific research, and student exchanges, and is making a solid advancement.
