The Institute has more than 40 professional and systematic design and test laboratories, including 16 laboratories for general aerodynamics, structural strength, rotor design, avionics and fire control, flight control, hydraulic transmission, environmental control, information technology, etc.; it has the means and facilities for the conventional design and test of military and civil helicopters of less than 13-ton class, with advanced design and research means and strong technological development force. Among them, the helicopter rotor test tower, engineering simulator, ground joint test bench and other facilities have filled the gaps in the domestic industry and reached the international advanced level, and the helicopter rotor test capability is among the world's advanced ranks. It is capable of parallel engineering design and overall, system simulation and static strength, vibration, fatigue, avionics system, non-avionics system, electrical system, fuel oil system, weapons system, aircraft ground power and other tests. 2002 passed the GJB9001A-2001 quality system certification.
