Longwan Museum digs deep into the elements of marine culture, and displays Longwan's cultural characteristics of mountains and the sea with the changes of the coastline, Yongjia Salt Farm, resistance to Japanese invasion, and marine labor artifacts. The second floor is equipped with a special exhibition hall, a memorial room for Taiwan compatriots and a temporary exhibition hall. Through numerous non-heritage items and exquisite folk artifacts, Longwan's rich history and traditional culture is expressed. Ms. Zhang Yao Hongying, a Taiwanese, donated 3.5 million RMB for the construction of the museum, and the museum has set up a memorial room on the second floor. Temporary exhibition halls are regularly introduced to hold various exhibitions, such as commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the war pictures and artifacts exhibition, Wang Zhurun painting fine art exhibition.
Longwan District Museum in addition to the daily opening, reception of visits, but also responsible for the region's cultural relics protection units, the management and maintenance of various cultural relics protection sites.
